Amazon will face Elon Musk's Tesla with the robot launch.

Amazon has introduced the latest innovations with Warehouse Automation. This is a robot named Vulcan with a sense of touch and can perform tasks previously exclusively for human workers. Amazon has announced a robot that will offer future events in Dortmund, Germany.Elon Musk’s Tesla creates the Optimus-Humanoid Robot. It is designed to be a general purpose robot assistant capable of a variety of tasks, such as walking, climbing, climbing, lifting objects, carrying items, and autonomously carrying items.

How does Vulcan differ from other robots?

Amazon says that the robot’s touch sensation provides the ability to understand when and how to contact an object.“Typical robots are “numb and stupid.” In the past, when industrial robots have unexpected contact, they will emergency stop or destroy that contact.“The Vulcan represents a fundamental leap in robotics. It not only sees the world, it feels it, it also enables capabilities that have never been possible for Amazon robots until now.”Amazon also says that the Vulcan can easily move items in the storage compartment and create space for new ones. AI-equipped sensors allow you to detect contact and measure the force you are applying, and stop it before applying pressure to prevent damage. This is achieved using a professional “hand” similar to a hair straightener ruler, equipped with a feedback sensor for force adjusting the grip.

Amazon Vulcan launch: Good news for employees

Despite Vulcan’s capabilities, Parness assured CNBC that according to CNBC the robots are not intended to replace human workers. He said the robots were launched to improve not only efficiency, but also worker safety and ergonomics.“The Vulcan works with employees and the combination is better than either person,” says Parness.Amazon also says that the robot, which plays a role in completing 75% of customer orders, has created hundreds of new categories of jobs on Amazon, including robot floor monitors and on-site reliability maintenance engineers.
