Defense Staff (CDS) General General Anil Chauhan on Wednesday raised doubts on China’s claims regarding sixth generation fighter jets, saying the aircraft are still in development.
CDS Chauhan was asked about the claims of China’s sixth generation fighter jets, and although many countries are working on the sixth generation programme, he said everything is quite far from being completed. He said he personally believes that he is. He suggested that the state may display these technologies as part of its tactical approach.
“It’s very difficult to see these kinds of platforms with six generations of capabilities. What we’re talking about is the idea that even with external viewing of the aircraft and a clip of a few seconds, this is a six generation aircraft. In fact, many countries are pursuing a six-generation programme. Generation aircraft for the Chinese,” General Chauhan said.

“After a while, we had heard about the Chinese hiring a lot of former feathers in the US and the Royal Air Force. They wanted to improve their drills and their systems, so they said they It shows that the development stage is still in such a thing as well as the tactics.
Furthermore, General Chauhan described his perspective on sixth generation aircraft, describing it as a platform capable of both manned operations and unmanned businesses.
“My understanding of sixth generation aircraft is that there is no appropriate globally accepted definition of what sixth generation aircraft are. Essentially, sixth generation aircraft are It’s a platform that can run both manned and unmanned teams. Posts that can control 2-3 similar types of assets, perhaps UAVs, and drones, which are likely drones, can fight in different kinds of ways.” he said.

CDS Chauhan said such aircraft incorporate a variety of technologies, such as networking, data analysis and artificial intelligence, to enhance the decision-making capabilities of pilots during combat situations.
“That’s a kind of concept of six generations, and it includes a lot of technology. It includes networks, data analysis that provides such situational awareness to pilots over there, and command and control of all assets “You can network yourself or pass information through land networks. Apart from the system and its stealth technology, which has the ability to repair the type of self-healing,” he concluded. .
