Zelensky, Putin and Trump – Three rivals to meet in Saudi Arabia

In the midst of a groundbreaking development, Saudi Arabia will hold a high-stakes conference that includes three major global leaders: Ukrainian President Voldymir Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Donald Trump. The summit, which is scheduled to be held in Riyadh, marks a key moment of global diplomacy as three leaders gather amid the ongoing Russian-Ukraine war. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will face difficult tasks in balancing the contradictory interests of these influential figures and maintaining harmony during discussions.

Ukrainian President Zelensky traveled to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, accompanied by his wife for what his spokesman called an official visit “long-stage planned”; However, a spokesman revealed that Zelensky has no plans to meet with Russians or US officials during this trip. The visit will take place one day after a key meeting between the US and Russian authorities, aimed at discussing solutions to end the ongoing conflict.

The US and Russian delegations will meet in Riyadh on Tuesday, where they will focus on the Russian-Ukraine war and potential ceasefire measures. The war is now in its third year, causing losses of millions of lives and serious economic damage, and there is no clear path to peace. Nevertheless, discussions in Riyadh may offer faint hopes of diplomacy and conflict resolution.

There is also speculation that President Putin and President Trump may meet separately in Riyadh. It is unclear whether all three leaders will hold a trilateral meeting, but the summit holds great potential to shape future diplomatic efforts.

Additionally, US Secretary of State Sergei Lavrov and national security advisor Mike Waltz will also attend the meeting, further highlighting the importance of the meeting. Russian officials, including Putin’s diplomatic advisor Sergei Ushakov, are scheduled to arrive in Riyadh for discussion.

For Saudi Arabia, holding this summit is an important diplomatic test, as the kingdom must navigate the delicate balance of international relations while promoting constructive conversations among these powerful world leaders. is. The outcome of this summit could play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Russian-Ukurein conflict.
