India’s domestic air transportation experienced a remarkable increase in 2024, and the number of passengers increased by 6 % and reached 16.13 crawls. As a result, 67,622 passengers were affected by the airline and spending 1.26 rupees on rewards and facilities. In addition, 2,79,985 passengers experienced flight delays, and airline costs 3.78 rupees in facilitation.

The report also revealed that 2,147 passengers were rejected in December 2024 and that airlines were spending 1.76 rupees for compensation and additional services. Despite these issues, the increase in passengers and the growth of the aviation market emphasize the recovery and potential of the Indian domestic air travel industry.
