Renowned actor Vijay Ramaraju, known for his work in Telugu and Malayalam films, has tragically passed away due to injuries sustained during the shooting of a film in Hyderabad.
According to a report in 123Telugu, the actor was hospitalized after the accident last week and was later shifted to Chennai for advanced treatment. Sadly, despite medical efforts, he was unable to recover from his injuries.
Born Raj Kumar, Vijay made a memorable debut in Telugu film industry with the iconic film ‘Seetha Kalyanam’ directed by legendary Bapu. Over the years, he charmed the audience with films like ‘Bhairava Dweepam’, ‘Ashoka Chakravarthy’, ‘State Rowdy’ and ‘Vijay’. His mesmerizing performance in the role of a villain in Gopichand’s ‘Yagnam’ was widely appreciated and cemented his place in the industry.
Beyond acting, Vijay is a passionate weightlifter and bodybuilder and has shown a commitment to fitness. He is survived by two daughters, Deekshita and Padmini.
The news of his untimely death came as a shock to both the film industry and his fans, as he was actively working on new projects. Vijay’s last rites will be held in Chennai, where family, friends and fans will gather to bid farewell to the beloved actor.
