Shiv Sena of Uddhav Thackeray said that the rift between India bloc partners Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress contributed to the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s landslide.

The editorial for the mouthpiece of the SENA UBT party’s mouthpiece, “Saamana,” asked why an opposition alliance is needed, instead of the Saffron Party, when their members continue to fight each other.
In the Delhi Congress election contest from 70 members, the BJP removed the capital’s Arvind Kejriwal-led party from power by bagging 48 seats. The AAP was guaranteed to only 22 seats, resulting in a massive defeat. Meanwhile, the Congress continued to present disastrous performances, drawing a gap for the third consecutive time in the assembly elections in Delhi.
The Samana editor states, “In Delhi, both the AAP and the Congress fought to destroy each other, facilitating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. If this continues, why form an alliance Do you do it? You just have to fight the content in your heart!”
Both the AAP and the Congress took several pot shots of each other through the campaign in the Delhi elections.
Similar retreats in Haryana Maharashtra
A similar setback between the opposition parties has also caused disappointment in Maharashtra, adding that the BJP-led coalition won the 2024 state assembly poll.
The Marathis further argued that if the opposition party did not learn from the election results in Delhi, it would only strengthen what they described as “autonomous rule” under Modi and Shah.
Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Omar Abdullah also stolen the jives on both the grand old party and the AAP after fighting each other. “Aur lado aapas mein!!! (Continue to fight each other),” the leader of the national conference said in Post X.
The editorial also argued that a similar situation broke out in Haryana in last year’s parliamentary elections. He asked whether internal elements within the assembly were intentionally injuring Rahul Gandhi’s leader.
“Sharmana” also criticized veteran social activist Anna Hazare for his remarks against Arvind Kejwal, highlighting that the former’s own anti-corruption movement paved the way for the rise of AAP chief politics in the past.
Last month, Hazare had urged Delhi voters to choose people with clean personalities and thoughts, those who can sacrifice and take on insults at the expense of the country.
“Hazare remained silent on allegations of corruption under the Modi government, including the controversy over the Rafale deal and the Hindenburg report on Adani groups. Shows in Maharashtra and in the country,” the editors said. I filed it.
“Continue fighting among yourself!”
He further said that the losses in Delhi’s elections had a direct impact on the country’s democratic process. Even in Maharashtra, local circuit council leaders were expanding seat sharing talks until the very end, eventually portraying a chaotic picture.
The discrepancy between the opposition parties in Maharashtra and Delhi helped the saffron camp directly, the editor of the Marathi publishing house added.
In a sarcasm, Sena (UBT) mouthpiece said, “This doesn’t need to be allied, what happens to things. Just keep fighting among yourself! In Delhi parliamentary elections, such people are like that You don’t even have to dip in the Ganga River to do a noble job.”
