In the Internet’s “biggest collaboration” of 2024, American creator Jimmy Donaldson, popular as MrBeast, has subscribed to rival T-Series on YouTube. The world’s most followed YouTuber met Bhushan Kumar, Chairman and Managing Director of T-Series, and the two ended up mutually subscribing on the video streaming platform.
In the viral video, MrBeast is seen meeting Bhushan Kumar and telling him that he traveled to India with a unique offer for him. “I’ll subscribe to T-Series if you subscribe to me,” says MrBeast. Kumar immediately agreed and hit the subscribe button. He then turns to MrBeast and expects the same in return. MrBeast teased him with a playful prank and said, “Looks like my phone is broken. I’ll do it later when I charge it.” But soon after, he made good on his promise and subscribed to T-Series, which lasted for many years. He declared that the “subscriber competition” would come to an end.
YouTube India shared the video on Instagram and wrote, “We invite Mr. Beast to subscribe to T-Series.”

As soon as the video was released, fans rushed to the comments section to share their excitement, with many expecting a collaboration. One user wrote, “The world is not about competition, it’s about collaboration..!!” Another user wrote: “Unexpected collaboration of the year. PewDiePie was crying in the corner.”
“Mr. Beast and T-Series subscribed to each other before GTA 6,” a third user responded.
In June, MrBeast’s channel overtook an Indian music company to become the most subscribed YouTube channel. Born in Wichita, Kansas, Donaldson gained worldwide fame for his fast-paced videos featuring challenges and giveaways. He was only 13 years old when he started his YouTube channel in 2012. But the world took notice in 2017, when one of his videos garnered over 10,000 views in just a few days.
