For six days, from Wednesday to Monday, February 11th to 16th, designers will present their Fall 2026 collections in the Big Apple. New York Fashion Week, presented by CFDA, kicks off with a bang with Rachel Scott’s official debut at Proenza Schouler. (She was hired last year fairly deep into the design process, editing something that had already begun.) The week’s closing act has yet to be announced, but it won’t be Raul López’s Luard, who has yet to confirm plans. However, we do know that Marc Jacobs and Ralph Lauren are scheduled to perform off-calendar shows on February 9th and 10th, respectively, before their official schedules.
New to this week’s lineup is 7 for All Mankind, conducted by Blumarine alumnus Nicola Brogano. Carolina Herrera returns after a “spring frenzy” in Madrid, Public School’s Maxwell Osborne and Daoyi Chou return to the calendar, and coach Robert Rodriguez’s Derek Lam also returns to the calendar.
Brands celebrating anniversaries in 2026 include Lafayette 148 New York, which was founded in 1996, as well as Kite, Kim Shui and Private Policy. Both were founded in 2016, a year that gained attention on the internet. Menswear brands like Avon Anglers, Peak Lapel, and the renowned J. Press are in a position to talk about the resurgence of prep.
Heading from the Winner’s Circle to the runway will be Ashlyn Park, winner of the top prize at the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, and Veejay Floreska, the first trans woman to win the Project Runway title. (Her mentor on the show is Christian Siriano, who also participates in the schedule.)
Over the past few years, NYFW has become a hub for up-and-coming talent, much of it made possible by the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. More than 20 scheduled designers and brands are participating in the program. In addition, a number of smaller labels went from unscheduled to “official” in the fall, including Zoe Gustavia Anna Whalen, Advizly, Aisling Camps, Alix of Bohemia, Andrew Curwen, Mel Yushin, Menerek, and Ossu.
