Release date and streaming platform
All eight episodes of Dying For Sex will be available for streaming on April 4th. Hulu streams series in the US, and Disney+ handles international distribution. The show was first announced in 2023 as an FX production company.

Storyline
The series is based on an incredible podcast of the same name. It’s inspired by Molly Ko-chan’s true story. After being diagnosed with stage IV metastatic breast cancer, Molly decides to leave her husband Steve. She begins to explore her sexuality and makes the most of the rest of her time. Her best friend, Nikki Boyer, supports her throughout this journey.
Characters and cast
Michelle Williams plays Molly. Jenny Slate plays her best friend, Nicky. Jay Duplas plays Molly’s husband Steve. Other cast members include Rob Delaney, Kelvin Yu, David Lache, Esco Julay and Sisy Spac.

Production team
Kim Rosenstock and Elizabeth Meriweather co-created the series. They are also executive producers. Katherine Pope, Kathy Syrick and Hernan Lopez of Wonderly are among the other executive producers.
