BYD (HKG: 1211, OTCMKTS: BYDDY) is hoping to begin “using demonstrations” all solid batteries around 2027.

BYD began research and development on batteries in all solid states in 2013, when he was primarily exploring the routes and materials of technology, Sun said.

He believes the cost of solid-state batteries will not be an issue in the long run.

According to Sun, the biggest impact of nickel and cobalt is primarily nickel and cobalt in the sulfide pathway of solid-state batteries.
