Tory Burch not only has his own twist on American sportswear with his new fall/winter collection at New York Fashion Week, but also “twisted ed” with exaggerated shapes and details, splash backgrounds and memorable music I’ve done it.

Birch, known for her classic lines and colour splashes against neutral tones, has her inspiration on Monday’s show, filming the expected production, with unconventional details and more. It says it’s a way to add pairing.
“It was a literal, figurative view of the word ‘twist.’ I loved the idea that Sportswear was created in the US,” Burch told The Associated Press after the show.
“I wanted to give people the ability to take a second glance when you see something, and then more depth than when you first realised what it was. And whether it’s in the gorgeous thread you use, or whether it’s a refined one with interesting cut lines and drapes… it explored it – you’d prefer it How do you twist what you make?”
A standout look from the Birch show
The collection was characterized by a wealth of layers of sweaters draped over the coat, button-downs peeking out from underneath the sweaters, and an oversized blazer on top. Other outstanding looks include reimagined track pants made of brushed wool and cotton, paired with blazers and sweaters.
Some utilitarian short jackets had multiple pockets with birches called “handbag jackets” paired with black leather, denim and another brown skirt.
Several jackets and button-down shirts exaggerated sleeves and cuffs that hang loosely on models like Dad’s sports coat. A series of textured velvet and jersey dresses draped in calm colors can be dressed up top and bottom.
The stairs and creepy elements give Birch its twisty vibe
Burch loves drama a bit on shows and always chooses a venue to make statements. She said she felt “very lucky” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
“I’ve been here forever and I’ve always loved my mom. It’s just a miracle for me. It’s like the perfect space typical of New York.”
The runway was in two separate spaces connected by a huge staircase where the models descended during the show. Some guests sat on a metal bench at the top of the two-storey space, while others featured a solid white room with window walls facing the street, as well as a distorted camera angle from the model and guests. It was under a huge video screen showing. Watching the show gives off a very brother vibe.
The creepy soundtrack has been added to the experience. There were few lyrics, but instead the women were laughed – sometimes maniacal. “It’s a little twisted,” Burch said with a smile about the music. “I didn’t know if she was laughing or crying.”
Stars who participated in the Birch Show
Amanda Safriede, Jody Turner Smith and Alexandra Daddario shared the bench with singer-songwriter Ciara and media icon Martha Stewart.
“Industry” star Myala talks about Burch’s collection:
Singer-songwriter-actor Charlotte Lawrence said he loves all the details of the show. “You can know that designers love women. Obviously, Tory knows how to dress women in a very elegant way that I believe in.
