Peacock’s political thriller Eddie Redmayne starring Jackal Day is the most streamed original series on the platform, following NBC Universal’s 75-day viewership. The show managed to beat several records on streamers, including being the biggest series release of all time.

This success has crossed local barriers and reached a large global audience. The network doesn’t provide accurate viewership numbers, but it is estimated that the first episode reached 4.6 million viewers in the first 28 days.

During the finale week, the series was one of the streamers’ top-ranked dramas. Although it was not possible to rank across Peacock’s original list, the latest milestones are a testament to the show’s growth and success. If you like thriller political dramas, there are five similar shows to watch on other streaming platforms.

24 (Hulu and Disney+)

The drama series follows Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland). Jack Bauer is a counterterrorist agent on the mission to deflation the terrorist planning and agenda for the good of the people. The series has been running successfully for nine seasons since 2001, but is packed with advanced suspense and drama!

Kill Eve (Netflix)

Created by Fleabag Star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, this thriller drama follows Eve (Sandra Oh), who is tired of desk work in MI5 and dreams of working as a spy. When she stumbles on elite hitwoman Villanelle (Jodie Comer), mutual obsessions intertwine their lives.

Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime Video)

John Krasinski leads this action-packed series as Jack Ryan, a CIA analyst “entering into dangerous field allocations,” according to the official summary. The nominal action hero must use his wit, knowledge and physical strength to pave his way out of near-death situations. The series ended in 2023 after four successful seasons.

Special OPS: lioness (Amazon Prime Video)

Emilia Perez’s Starzoe Saldana plays a CIA operative named Joe McNamara. Joe McNamara leads the Lioness Program, a facility recruiting female agents for particularly risky undercover investigations.

Recruit (Netflix)

Star Noah Centino to all the boys I loved before playing Owen Hendrix in the thrilling spy drama on Netflix. The main character is a CIA lawyer who is drawn into the dangerous underworld and becomes part of a massive international conflict involving elites and threatening parties.
