Currently, Warner Bros Discovery has been added to the YouTube free movie list. On Friday, Warner Bros Discovery released 31 free movie YouTube playlists (H/T Variety) from its streamable catalogue. At the time of this writing, that number has already grown to 37 Free Warner Bros. films, including some hidden gems.
Certainly, this is not on par with the deep library of the best free streaming services available. However, there are some must-see movies on this list, and at least other movies worth your time. Fans of “Best In Show” and “This Is Spinal Tap” will definitely want to see “Waiting for Guffman.” Though not as well known as these two films, this is another mockmentary comedy in which writer/director Christopher Guest did his best.
“Waiting for Guffman” stars guest as the quirky community theater director in the small Missouri town of Brain. He has published musicals about the town’s history, entitled “Red, White, Brain,” and using his “Off Off-Broadway” connection, he invites Broadway producer Mort Gaffman to play the play.
