Mumbai: Actor Imran Khan was appearing in a special screening of the upcoming film “Labuyapa” starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Both Junade and Kushi belong to the next generation of Bollywood.
Junade is the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, while Khushi is the daughter of producer Bonnie Kapoor.
Previously, Imran was seen last year at the wedding of Aamir’s daughter Ira Khan. The actor took sabbatical from the film and is currently focusing on his business.
Meanwhile, “Loveyapa” is set in the realm of modern romance, offering a rich, heartwarming story with unforgettable performances, lively music and breathtaking visuals. The film is scheduled to be released on February 7th, 2025.
“Loveyapa” is the second film for both Junaid and Khushi, making its debut in Netflix films “Maharaj” and “The Archies.”
“Maharaj” was based on Kalsandasmurji, a journalist and social reformer. Murji, Karsandasmurji, who studied at Elphinstone College in Mumbai, was a student of scholar leader Dadabai Naoroji, played by Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan – the son of film Junaid. He was a member of Gujarati Ganangampurasalak Mandari (Gujarat Association for the Spread of Knowledge) and was a friend of prominent Gujarati reformers, such as the poet Narmad and the education scholar Mappitram Nyerkans.
Murji writes about widow remarriage, women’s education, excessive spending on grand marriages, indecent songs sung during marriage, and funeral rituals of assault on the chest, who are repressed and called for social reform. He stood up. Many of the evil practices in society were abolished because of Murji, who believed in the effective function of society by eliminating its evil.
He wrote many notable articles. However, he published “Hindu no Asri Dharam Atia na Pakandi Math” (the primitive religion of Hindus and the present heterodox) in “Satyaprakash” on September 21, 1890. The article was titled “Opinion”. This article criticized the actions of Vaishnava Alkalyas (Hindu religious leader). This article led to the Maharaj Libel incident, the basis of Netflix films in 1862.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Junade Khan also has upcoming films with Sai Pallavi.
