The AEW programming is said to be ranked for top live sporting events on HBO MAX since debuting on the streaming platform on January 1st.
According to Fightful Select, the report is positive and comes from the information source of Warner Bros. Discovery, a broadcast partner of AEW. The WBD Station TNT and TBS have been broadcasting AEW’s weekly TV products since Tony Khan-Helmed Promies started 2019.
The WBD is aware that it has maintained the official number of viewers “even within the company, even in the company”. Since the AEW arrived on the platform, Max’s AEW viewing numbers have not been disclosed.
AEW programming is competing simultaneously with TNT/TBS and MAX. Until now, Dynamite posted the following evaluation in 2025.
January 1: 588,000 viewers, 0.16 P18-49 rating.
January 8: 615,000 viewers, 0.17 P18-49 rating.
January 15: 679,000 viewers, 018 P18-49 rating.
January 22: 655,000 viewers, 0.19 P18-49.
Average: 634,000 viewers, 0.17 P18-49 evaluation.
These numbers do not include HBO MAX viewers. This makes the analysis complicated and difficult to compare. This is because the conventional Nielsen evaluation is no longer a complete reflection of dynamite viewers. This is true as long as the WBU has decided to keep the MAX viewing figures private.
Comparing the 2025 viewer numbers in 2024, they became orange in both major promotions in North America. The AEW reported 2025 numbers are incomplete without HBO MAX data. On the other hand, WWE Raw is the theme that Nielsen reports in the United States following the movement of the show to Netflix. Nielsen reports only the US -only live and the DVR/on -demand viewing, but Netflix counts viewers globally for seven days via the TUDUM site. Since the calculation method is completely different, the numbers cannot be compared with the previous USA network data.
The new AEW media right contract for the discovery of Warner Brothers is worth a report of $ 185 million a year.
