Joe Rogan called out by Brian Callen over Los Angeles fire allegations
Joe Rogan faced criticism from fellow comedian Brian Cullen during a recent episode of The Joe Rogan Experience. The exchange came after Rogan shared controversial claims about the Los Angeles wildfires and suspected arsonists, and was met with skepticism from guests.
In his podcast, Logan suggested the fires were started by homeless people and claimed gangs were looting the evacuated areas. He also floated a conspiracy theory that one of the alleged arsonists was in possession of a United Nations-issued debit card and multiple mobile phones.
“People are looting like crazy… breaking into evacuated areas, breaking down doors, pulling out TVs… A man was arrested for arson, he had a UN debit card with him. He had five cell phones and a United Nations prepaid debit card.”
Unconvinced, Karen immediately questioned Logan’s sources and urged the podcast’s producers to fact-check the claims. After fact-checking, Logan’s statement was found to be unsubstantiated, and Karen responded:
“I’m a skeptic. Is this a conspiracy? I just don’t want to be played with…I don’t know what’s true anymore…You’re spreading rumors, Joe Rogan. You’re being played with. ” (H/t: Daily Mail)
