Home News Iran’s “Paatal Rock”: Iran surprises the US ahead of President Trump’s return by revealing a 500 meter deep naval missile base to Iran…

Experts say the move to reveal the underground base is intended to be a show of strength by the Iranian government ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th US president on January 20. That’s what I think.

Iran has unveiled an underground naval base.

Iranian Navy: Ahead of Donald Trump’s return to power as the 47th president of the United States, Iran has unveiled an advanced underground naval missile base reportedly built more than 500 meters underground, threatening rivals. , which particularly surprised the United States. Footage released Saturday by Revolutionary Guards-owned media and Iran’s state TV channel shows dozens of attack boats equipped with missiles at a winding underground naval base.

Although the exact location of the base has not been disclosed, the underground base is believed to be somewhere in Iran’s strategic southern waters, including the Persian Gulf, the Strait of Hormuz, and the Gulf of Oman. The base is located 500 meters underground and was developed to enhance Iran’s naval capabilities in these strategic waterways, according to state media reports.

The missile-carrying craft seen in the video is capable of destroying U.S. warships and destroyers in the region, the report said. The video shows General Hossein Salami, commander in chief of Iran’s elite Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), visiting a naval base accompanied by Rear Admiral Alireza Tansiri, commander of the Revolutionary Guards Navy.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said on Saturday that two days before President Donald Trump’s return to the White House, footage emerged showing that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards had unveiled an underground naval missile base at an undisclosed location in the Persian Gulf, and that the Iranian Revolutionary Guards had opened an underground naval missile base in an undisclosed location in the Persian Gulf. Experts say the move to expose the underground base is meant to show off the Iranian government’s strength ahead of Donald Trump’s inauguration as the 47th president of the United States on January 20. I think there is. Notably, Trump adopted a maximum pressure policy against Iran during his first administration. At the end of his term as president, he withdrew from the 2015 nuclear deal and reimposed tougher sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

Iran strengthens military power in defiance of US

However, Iran continues to defy the United States and continues to build up its military despite recent setbacks in Lebanon and Syria. On Friday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Agreement, under which the two countries’ allies will counter mutual military threats, participate in joint military exercises, and They agreed to develop “military-technical cooperation.”

Recently, Iran announced that it has inducted into its military more than 1,000 new military drones with advanced stealth capabilities. Additionally, Tehran also plans to introduce new warships to the Iranian Navy. Last week, Iranian Deputy Chief of Army Coordination Major General Habibullah Sayari said that more advanced ships and air units would be added to the Iranian Navy in the future.

Analysts say underground bases are a must for Iran because of the imminent threat of an Israeli attack, and Israel will seize the opportunity to sabotage or destroy Tehran’s military infrastructure whenever the opportunity arises. Probably.
