FOX News’ Jessica Tarloff recently sat down with network host Sean Hannity after pressing him to consider President Joe Biden’s only White House term, which ends next week with President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. .
On Friday’s broadcast of “Hannity,” Tarlov pointed to falling gas prices, a 4.1% domestic unemployment rate, growth in gross domestic product and a decline in U.S.-Mexico border crossings, before asking Hannity, “Hannity’s “Please don’t deny the policy.” The reality of the outcome that the Biden White House “ultimately oversaw.”
“There’s a reason Donald Trump wants to take credit for these things,” she says.
“And there’s also a reason why Donald Trump now admitted, as he did in an interview with Time magazine, that it’s really hard to bring prices down.”
She also cited Vice President-elect J.D. Vance’s recent call for “stabilization” of prices, and Tom Homan, President Trump’s nominee for border czar in the new administration, who warned Republicans about future deportation efforts. He pointed out that he reportedly told them to adjust their expectations regarding the issue.
“They’re backing away from promises they made to the American people because they know they can’t deliver,” she said.
Hannity predicted that history would “not be kind” to Biden. Biden’s latest and final approval rating was his lowest since taking office.
Asked how he thought Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris had performed during their four years in the White House, Tarlov gave him a “B” grade. She also said “a lot” has been done for the country under Biden and Harris through the so-called PACT Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and the bipartisan infrastructure bill.
“(These are) very, very, very good things for the country, but there is no doubt about it. They will leave the country under a cloud of disapproval,” Tarlov said.
