The Samsung Galaxy S25 series will come with two new artificial intelligence (AI) features. Samsung’s next generation flagship smartphone is expected to be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22nd. Ahead of the announcement, the tech giant teased several new AI features for the device. Now, a tipster has leaked two new AI features that could be introduced. According to the leak, the Gemini AI assistant may be integrated with some of the company’s first-party apps, allowing it to perform more complex tasks.

Samsung Galaxy S25 series may be equipped with these AI features

According to a post on Technoblog, the South Korean tech giant is planning two new AI features for the Galaxy S25 series, but they have not announced them publicly so far. The tipster claimed to have access to promotional images of the smartphone lineup detailing these features.

The first is the integration of Google’s Gemini with Samsung’s first-party apps. The tipster claimed that Gemini will have access to apps like Calendar, Notes, and Reminders, allowing the AI-powered virtual assistant to perform more complex tasks that weren’t possible before. The same feature was also reported by an X (previously known as Twitter) user in a post.

Based on the shared image, users can say the command “Hey Gemini” to launch the Assistant and ask it to capture certain information from YouTube videos and save it to Samsung Note. This will allow your assistant to do it.

In particular, Gemini can already connect to several Google apps such as Maps and YouTube via extensions. It appears that a similar extension for Samsung apps will be used to provide access to the AI assistant. However, the tech giant has already hinted at Bixby’s AI makeover, raising questions about whether Gemini’s stronger integration could have a negative impact on Bixby’s adoption.

Additionally, the tipster claimed that the new Now Brief feature will also be coming to the Galaxy S25 series. This feature is said to display a summary of the user’s day in a card style. There are three screens based on the image shared. First, it greets you with “Good morning” and displays the weather forecast and energy score. The latter appears to be based on data collected from the Galaxy Watch or Galaxy Ring.

Separately, the ‘For Your Routes’ screen displays cards for maps and music player apps that may help users while on the go. The Night Overview screen displays information such as Memorable Moments and daily activity goals. It is unknown whether there are other such screens within Now Brief.

Please note that no information regarding new AI features has been announced by Samsung and may or may not be present at the launch of the Galaxy S25 series. You can only confirm the feature after it is officially announced.
