This year’s CES show in Las Vegas, Nevada drew crowds from around the world to see the latest products built with artificial intelligence (AI).
CES is hosted by the Virginia-based Consumer Technology Association. Introducing the products and features of the latest electronic products targeted at consumers. More than 138,000 people attended the event, which ended last weekend.
More than 4,000 companies announced products at CES 2025. Here are some of the key products on display at this year’s 2025 show.
A smarter TV?
CES has historically been an event where major electronics manufacturers unveil their latest and greatest televisions. This year was no exception.
South Korean TV manufacturers LG and Samsung have both announced new smart models with built-in AI tools. Japan’s Panasonic and China’s Hisense and TCL have also released TV models equipped with new AI tools.
South Korean manufacturer LG said its latest model is equipped with AI technology designed to autonomously improve image brightness, clarity and sound quality. AI improvements are powered by the company’s proprietary a11 processor technology.
LG also announced new updates to its Magic Remote device controller, saying new AI tools have been added to provide more detailed search and interaction possibilities with users.
Samsung has introduced a system called Samsung Vision AI to its line of OLED and QLED TV models. The company said the AI tools aim to turn TVs into more “intelligent” assistive devices, “simplifying and enriching users’ daily lives.”
One example is the ability for users to click on various screen elements and immediately receive information about what they are viewing. The company said that a separate tool allows you to activate live language translation on your screen.
Transport robots and personal robots
At CES, several companies introduced robotic transport vehicles designed to move over different types of surfaces and terrain.
One of the models was manufactured by Kubota, a Japanese agricultural and construction equipment manufacturer. The company demonstrated how its KATR four-wheeled robot uses hydraulics to independently control the vehicle’s four legs. This design aims to keep the robot safe and level even when working on hills or rocky areas.
Kubota says the vehicle can carry up to 240 kg of cargo and is small enough to be transported in most pickup trucks.
Chinese developer Unitree Robotics has unveiled a dog-like robot model called Go2. The robot was designed with an array of cameras, sensors, and AI tools. The company says this allows Go2 to move smoothly and automatically follow its owner. It can carry small loads on its back and can also be used for corporate and personal security operations.
A demonstration at CES showed Go2 performing tricks such as standing on two legs, dancing, and high-fiving attendees. The company makes several other dog-like models as well as humanoid robots.
aircraft carrier vehicle
The latest flying car designs are also popular at CES every year. But this year, Chinese automaker XPENG took its presentation a step further and unveiled a combination truck and flying car.
The company calls this system a land-based aircraft carrier. It includes a large transport van with enough space to transport vertical landing vehicles. The idea is to allow users to launch the flying vehicle from anywhere the van can go. The flying car is fully autonomous and can carry two people at once.
The company also offers several conventional vehicles on its website and plans to sell the combination for about $300,000, according to Chinese media reports. XPENG said it aims to increase production of all vehicles next year.
automatic charging vehicle
California-based Aptera Motors demonstrated a new electric vehicle model with a built-in charging system. The company says on its website that the vehicle has solar panels on its surface to capture energy from the sun. Aptera claims that when charged this way, it can travel up to 64 kilometers a day without being connected to a power source. According to the company, it can travel up to 640 kilometers on a full charge.
salt enriched spoon
Japanese beverage maker Kirin Holdings has announced a new product aimed at enhancing the salt taste of foods without increasing the amount of salt. The spoon-shaped device uses electricity to increase the salt content. The company says the tool can be carried anywhere and sends a small electrical current through the top of the device to the food.
electric assist ski
French electric sports equipment manufacturer SQ-Motors has unveiled an all-terrain electric board that can travel on roads and snow. The company calls its invention the “Sternboard.” It’s a three-wheeled board with an electric motor on the back.
Initially designed as an electric skateboard, a version was developed that could travel on snow. The Powerboard reached speeds of over 60 kilometers per hour in tests.
However, the snow version is not designed for speed. These aim to enable users to climb hills or travel long distances over flat terrain.
