Mike Perry recently had a hilarious response to Joe Rogan’s discussion of the usefulness of the alkaloid ibogaine. Rogan had this discussion with one of his guests on the latest episode of his podcast.
Former U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry and former Kentucky Opioid Commission Chairman W. Brian Hubbard grace the stage on the latest episode of The Joe Rogan Experience (No. 2251). Initially, Logan thoroughly discussed the use of plant-based psychotropic drugs to treat mental illness with Perry.
Later, he also spoke with Hubbard, who told us about how ibogaine has been proven as an effective antidote to opioid addiction. An Instagram post from @beond.us featured Rogan criticizing the fact that ibogaine is on the list of illegal substances and Hubbard highlighting its positive effects. he said:
“Ibogaine has the unique ability to return the brain’s production of dopamine and serotonin to pre-opioid exposure levels within 36-48 hours. Dependence is completely resolved. The number is 97% with the second supplemental dose.”

Perry noticed Logan and Hubbard’s conversation. However, his reaction in the comment section of the post showed that his mind probably doesn’t understand the topic being discussed. He posted a GIF of The Hangover’s Zach Galifianakis’ confused face and some complicated mathematical formulas were thrown around.
Another of Joe Rogan’s guests thanked Donald Trump for encouraging the use of plant-based drugs to treat mental illness in American veterans.
Apart from W. Brian Hubbard’s views on the usefulness of ibogaine, another of Joe Rogan’s guests, Rick Perry, said that plant-based psychotropic drugs like cannabis can cure many diseases, including epilepsy. He highlighted how it has been proven to reduce
He also thanked U.S. President-elect Donald Trump for taking steps and putting resources in place to encourage the use of such substances to help U.S. veterans cope with mental disorders. Perry said:
“Thankfully, Donald Trump won this election. He has people in place who are open to the use of botanicals (psychotropic drugs) for the mental health of veterans.”
