Turkiye exceeds 2024 defense export target

This achievement exceeds this year’s defense export target of $6.5 billion by 11%, Turkish Defense Industry Minister Haluk Golgun announced on the X-Platform.

Mr. Gorgun highlighted the industry’s strong international performance, saying, “Thanks to international cooperation activities and international connections, our companies are now able to export not to a specific region, but almost to the entire world.” .

Cutting-edge innovation and technological advancement

Mr. Gorgun emphasized the sector’s commitment to innovation and global activity. “Guided by defense industry products and advanced technology, we are determined to break new horizons, break records and carry Turkiye’s technological capabilities into the future,” he said.

This impressive growth reflects global demand for Turkiye’s defense and aerospace products, driven by advanced technology and strategic partnerships.

Going forward, the industry will continue to maintain its momentum and focus on strengthening exports of high value-added products. “We will continue to work with the same determination to achieve a permanent increase in exports in 2025,” Goguen stressed.
