There were some great Hollywood series in 2024. Among the many impressive releases, one that stands out is Shogun. The series gained attention this season as it swept multiple awards. Baby Reindeer became an overnight sensation upon its release as viewers fell in love with the semi-true crime story. On the other hand, Hux maintained his steady performance in his third season.

Here are some of Hollywood’s best shows released in 2024.

general

The taiga drama “Shogun” captivated viewers with its grand scale of production and outstanding performances by Hiroyuki Sanada, Mina Sawai, Tadanobu Asano, and others. Its plot revolves around three ambitious characters and how their actions shape 17th century Japan. The series swept a lot of awards at this year’s Emmy Awards, and for good reason.

hack

Huck continues to get more interesting with each season. In the third installment, Jean Smart’s Deborah Vance and Hannah Einbinder deliver solid performances as they navigate the cutthroat entertainment industry. The show has been renewed for season 4, which speaks to its popularity.

hundred years of solitude

A series based on Gabriel García Márquez’s expansive novel of the same name, One Hundred Years of Solitude is a magical and breathtaking work. The makers bring the author’s world to life with visually stunning series. It’s not always glamorous, but it’s still worth watching.

one day

Leo Woodall and Ambika Modh grabbed attention with their easy chemistry in One Day. The series depicts the relationship between Dexter and Emma starting in the spring of 1998. As the years pass, they only meet for one day. The show is both beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. Grab a tissue and come inside.

baby reindeer

The baby reindeer became an instant sensation when it was unveiled earlier this year. This semi-autobiographical series revolves around a struggling comedian who ends up offering tea to strangers. He soon realized that the woman was stalking him relentlessly. This show hooks you from the first episode and there’s no turning back.

no one wants this

The series surprised viewers with the chemistry between the lead pair. Starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, the story revolves around an agnostic woman and a rabbi. Their differences lead to hilarious situations as their romance develops. The chemistry between Bell and Brody is palpable and enough to carry the entire show.
