There are tons of new shows and movies streaming in the new year, and while the weather outside is terrible, Prime Video has plenty to watch.
Amazon’s main streaming service has plenty of new movies and shows worth adding to your watchlist. There’s also the long-awaited Season 3 premiere of Harlem, one of Prime Video’s best shows, and a new romantic comedy starring two comedy greats, Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon. The streamer is also expanding its NFL offerings for soccer fans, with the first wild-card playoff game of the year available to watch on Prime Video.

A shocking Season 2 cliffhanger leaves the four main best friends of “Harlem” Quinn (Grace Byers), Ty (Jerry Johnson), Camille (Megan Good) and Angie (Shonica) wondering what’s next. Prime Video’s unremarkable comedy is coming back after wondering if it would ever be released (Yamadai). Season 3 promises more twists and turns as the women find themselves at the crossroads of motherhood, relationships, and careers in New York City’s storied neighborhoods.
A few new faces are sure to stir things up this time around. New cast members include Seth (Kofi Siriboe), a captivating MLB player; Portia (Logan Browning), a former lover of Camille’s boyfriend. and Ty’s enthusiastic new colleague Eva (Gail Bean).

For the first time, Prime Video will extend its NFL service into the postseason. Soccer fans will be able to watch the first game of the Wild Card Playoffs on the weekend of January 11th, a first for the streamer.
The game will feature commentary from legendary play-by-play announcer Al Michaels and analyst Kirk Herbstreit, with Kaylee Hartung reporting from the sideline. Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell are at each other’s throats in Prime Video’s new R-rated comedy “You Are Heartily Invited.” The two stars play the concerned families of brides who accidentally book their weddings on the same day and at the same venue.
After a mistake in booking a venue, a battle of wits breaks out between a helicopter-wielding single father played by Ferrell and a blood type bride sister played by Witherspoon. Each of them is determined to make sure their family’s special weekend goes off without a hitch. Directed by Nicholas Stoller, director of The Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, “A Hearty Invitation” promises to be a chaotic and hilarious movie.
