Apple is reportedly considering releasing a new entry-level iPad 11 in early 2025, alongside the iPhone SE 4 and new iPad Air.

According to Apple tracker MacRumors, the news comes from a source with “a track record of upcoming Apple software updates,” suggesting that the iPad will come preinstalled with iPadOS 18.3. The update is expected to be released by January or February, coinciding with a possible March 2025 iPad launch.

Bloomberg’s Mark Garman hinted at a similar timeline in his weekly newsletter in October, saying the new iPad would be available by spring 2025, adding, “Starting in 2022, it will have a similar design to the current version, but with increased speed.” I will,” he said. he added.

Garman also believes the iPad will support Apple Intelligence, meaning it could be powered by an A17 Pro or A18 chipset and have at least 8GB of RAM.

Additionally, Apple is reportedly developing a new, affordable Magic Keyboard accessory for the iPad and/or iPad Air, expected to be released by mid-2025.

After a year-long hiatus, Apple announced in June a refreshed iPad Pro with an M4 chip and a new iPad Air with an M2 chip. In late October, the iPad Mini was released with the A17 Pro chipset.
