Christmas Day will feature a doubleheader of NFL action. This will be the fifth consecutive year that a game will be played during the holiday season, and the second consecutive year that both the Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs will play.
The opponents will be the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers. All four teams qualified for the AFC playoffs.
The NFL’s Christmas game kicks off at 1 p.m. ET, and both matchups could serve as playoff preludes.
Kansas City is the No. 1 seed heading into Week 17 in the AFC, with the Chiefs facing the Steelers in the opening game. Meanwhile, Baltimore will face the Texans in a rematch of the 2023 divisional round.

All four teams played on Saturday in Week 16, with a short rest period in between. The defending champions aren’t suffering any ill effects from the Super Bowl hangover.
The Chiefs defeated Houston 27-19 and are inching closer to clinching the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Steelers lost to the Ravens on Saturday. If they had won, they would have won the head-to-head battle and clinched the AFC North title. Instead, Pittsburgh hopes to bounce back and hold off Baltimore with two games remaining.
If Buffalo loses on Sunday in Week 16, the Chiefs will lock up the No. 1 seed and have nothing to bet on going into this Christmas meeting. The Steelers are competing in the AFC playoffs with a revitalized offense led by Russell Wilson.
