New York Fashion Week is over, but fashion trends are beginning. From bold and bright colors to prim-friendly suits, this season is a totally mixed bag, making it even more fun and versatile. We found several patterns, but each style was done differently as the designers put their own signature twist on their looks.
And while tied down to winter boots to watch this season’s runway show, the street style proved to be just as attractive. Participants also brought their own fashion to the game, joining a huge trend and making it their own.

Grunge costume
For a long time, this aesthetic has officially revived the NYFW runway. Pull out your slouching sweater and vintage tea. Coaches Korina Strada and Simkai dressed Grange on stamps of approval.
Dress on top of pants
This look is a mainstay in a modest way, slowly but certainly more popular among other aesthetic subcultures. Now it’s heading towards the runway. Coach and Alex S. Yu sent out several high fashion take on style and used accessories. While attending the show, Hari Nev and Ella Elmhoff showed us how to look casual and practical for everyday wear, so if you’re looking for an inspo, they Maybe it’s your muse.
Silver’s Maximism
Gold is not itself, but silver is definitely in the spotlight. From fully sequined ensembles to accents on jewellery and makeup, the silver has sparkled in some way this season. Carolina herrera chose a perfectly sparkly number with sequins throughout the pure neutral fabric, but incorporated silver decorations into the tweed piece. Tyler McGillively similarly layered black velvet with a mix of silver pieces and matches. Alex S. Yu got all the silver metallic fabrics.
Brighter than tomato red
The tomato girl’s summer may be over, but the spirit is still alive. To keep things fresh, the designers increased it and chose an even more vibrant shade of red. Sergio Hudson showed off his classic little red dress with this spin. Lola Tung joined Tory Burch’s trends.
Off-shoulder top
Many necklines have adorned the runway this season, but one in particular gave us a cold shoulder. Whether on one side or both, this simple styling choice adds to seeing great talent. Jane Wade and Lure showed off some pieces with a subtle cold shoulder neckline. Carolina Herara went looking for classic off-shoulder looks, so it might be a good time to dig out those tops from behind the closet.
Button fastening at the top
On the other hand, suits are once again a huge trend, this time they button the shirts and coats all the way to the top. It’s no one’s guess whether it’s inspired by memes or winter weather, but in any case, we love a cozy, practical look. It appears that Christopher John Roger and Lure were the same.
Corp Core
In addition to suits, business casual generally appears to be a motif. Perhaps in response to the trends in office siren, we are seeing a transition to wearing more sensitive professional clothing. They’re still a bit eclectic, but not enough for green cut creases. I found trends with Michael Kors, Prabal Grun, Tory Burch and coach.
Extra long belt
Accessoryization has recently been a unique league, like the trend in bag charms that mostly accessorize accessories. Now the new trick is to wear a very long belt and loosen the edges. This styling hack brings more movement and dynamic things and catches your eye for the perfect look of the outfit. Rachel Zegler tried out Michael Kors and Coach and sent his style down the runway, showing the full potential of movement and playfulness.
race
It’s difficult to choose, but if you have one material to walk together this week, it’s probably a race. Sheer has been trending for a minute, but we are now drawn to the race. But that’s not what it was popular in the 2010s with flowercrown and gladiator sandals. From the bride-like runways of Corina Strada to the appearance of Alex Consani’s Coquette and the Bratt Ensemble in Kesha, we see it in all new ways.
