According to a report by CNBC, Google CEO Sundar Pichai recently held a strategy meeting with Google employees and discussed the tech giant’s priorities for next year, increasing regulatory oversight around the world, We talked about advances in intelligence. The meeting was reportedly held at the company’s headquarters in Mountain View, California, and was attended by employees both in-person and virtually.

“I think 2025 is going to be an important year…I think it’s really important that we recognize the urgency of this moment, and we need to act faster as a company. The stakes are high. This This is a disruptive moment. In 2025, we must be relentlessly focused on maximizing the benefits of this technology and solving real problems for our users. ” Pichai was quoted as saying by CNBC.

Google’s top priorities for 2025:

Pichai said at the meeting that the company’s top priority is “building new business at scale.” This reportedly includes the Gemini app, which senior Google executives believe could be the company’s next app to reach 500 million users.

Regarding the Gemini app, Pichai said, “The Gemini app has seen strong momentum, especially in recent months.”

“But we have some work to do to close that gap by 2025 and establish a leadership position there too…Growing Gemini on the consumer side is our biggest focus next year. “It will be,” Pichai added.

Sundar Pichai talks about increased scrutiny of Google:

Pichai also spoke about the growing regulatory scrutiny of tech giants around the world, saying, “There is no doubt in my mind that we are under scrutiny around the world.” Ta.

“It comes with our scale and success. It’s part of a broader trend where technology is currently having a massive impact on society. So throughout this moment, we’ve Beyond that, we need to avoid distractions,” the Google CEO added.
