14 Highlights From CES 2025 In AI, Robots, Glasses, Health And More

CES 2025, with over 141K attendees, delivered groundbreaking technological innovations, from agentic AI and decentralized systems to health tech and humanoid robotics, all highlighting the future of how we live, work, and experience the world. I started my CES Adventure with Jensen Huang’s inspiring keynote and an insightful dinner with Mark Cuban, where we discussed AI, the evolving role of crypto, and his new startup Cost Plus.

This year, CES showcased how AI has evolved from a standalone category into a technology embedded in nearly every innovation on display. From AI-powered window cleaning and health diagnostics to next-gen gaming, video editing, and customer experience tools, AI has become the core driver of transformation across industries.

I also met with dozens of companies, ranging from startups to global enterprises, and one of my biggest insights was clear: AI is no longer just a tool—it’s becoming a core part of how businesses operate. Companies are embedding AI into coding, community building, sales, risk management, and even legal and operations.

This year made it clear: AI is no longer a feature—it’s the foundation of the future.

An interesting takeaway was the rise of Decentralized AI, which addresses two critical challenges in today’s AI landscape: data privacy and control over decision-making. By distributing AI processes across blockchain-powered networks, decentralized AI ensures transparency, reduces bias, and guarantees verifiable data integrity. As AI continues to integrate across all sectors, blockchain and AI will both play critical roles.

From Agentic AI breakthroughs to blockchain to futuristic health tech and multitasking robots, here are the top 14 highlights from this year’s event:

Agentic AI and AI Agents Were A Hit At CES

NVIDIA’s CEO Jensen Huang revealed his bold vision for Agentic AI, predicting the rise of digital workers capable of understanding tasks, planning, and taking action autonomously. This matters because it opens the door for smarter automation, allowing businesses to streamline operations while maintaining efficiency and control.

Innovations like the Natura Humana HumanPods and Runner H AI Agent brought this vision to life. The Natura Humana HumanPods use wearable earbuds for easy access to AI Agent assistants with unique voices and personalities, while Runner H automates complex workflows with minimal oversight, making productivity smarter and more efficient across industries.

What makes it innovative? It enables complex decision-making and task execution without constant human input, setting the stage for more autonomous digital ecosystems.

Psyonic Ability Hand at CES

The PSYONIC Ability Hand showcased a next-level bionic innovation with advanced sensory feedback, providing users and robots with unprecedented control and dexterity. It’s revolutionary for assistive technology, enabling people with limb differences to regain functional independence.

I got to meet the founder of PSYONIC, Dr. Aadeel Akhtar. He is a neuroscientist and electrical engineer who established the company to create advanced bionic limbs, most notably the “Ability Hand” bionic hand.

“At PSYONIC, our mission is to super-charge humans and robots with the most cutting-edge technology. The Ability Hand combines advanced sensory feedback with AI-driven adaptability, offering unprecedented control and functionality for users. We’re committed to making bionic technology smarter, more intuitive, and accessible to robotics systems and those with limb difference who need it most.”

What makes it innovative? It combines groundbreaking material science with AI feedback loops, improving both usability and real-time adaptability for all their human and robotics users including NASA, Apptronik, Mercedes-Benz, and Google.

Abbott’s Lingo Continuous Glucose Monitoring

The Abbott Lingo offering is a non-invasive glucose monitor designed to provide real-time health insights. This is crucial for proactive health management, making it easier for users to track their wellness without invasive testing.

I loved learning from Stephanie Radek, part of the communications team at Abbott. Lingo uses a biosensor based on continuous glucose monitoring technology that is already being used by about 6 million people globally.

What makes it innovative? Real-time data and a non-invasive design provide continuous health insights, empowering proactive health decisions without discomfort. And it’s only around $50.

Humanoid Robotics

CES went big on humanoid robots, from robots shaking hands and doing dishes to massive agricultural robots from John Deere. These innovations show how personal and industrial tasks can be automated with human-like precision, reducing labor strain and increasing productivity.

My favorites were Realbotix, who unveiled Aria, a life-size AI robot capable of expressing emotions and engaging in conversations. Aria showcases advanced motor technology for fluid movements and modular design, making her suitable for various applications, including personal companionship and travel convenience.

Additionally, Hangzhou Yushu Technology and Unitree presented next-generation robots with improved agility, interaction, and functionality for both industrial and personal use, further blurring the line between humans and machines.

However, while innovation is accelerating, the cost remains a barrier for mainstream adoption. The window cleaning robot was priced at $1,200, the personal companion robot at $175,000, and the all-in-one home robot capable of dishwashing and multitasking was also priced prohibitively high. Even the robot pet feeder came with a premium price tag. Reducing these costs will be essential for wider household adoption of these technologies.

What makes it innovative? Blending human-like dexterity with machine efficiency can transform industries from healthcare to agriculture.

CES AI House

The CES AI House was a series of sessions covering the hottest AI topics, including AI agents, LLMs, chatbots, AI in industries like retail, and how businesses can get started with AI adoption.

With over 1500 attendees listening to companies like Snap, SiriusXM, Cox Communications, Alibaba, Zendesk, StitchFix, Altair, BlackRock and more share their best practices and secrets of success. Sponsored by WWT, DEPT, GMI Cloud, FueliX, SoundHound and Tensorwave, it was a brilliant way to focus and share real insights.

For example, the AI House panel on The Race for Generative AI and LLM Supremacy had some great insights on “Bodyguards” delivered by AIXplain, to real world case studies from Altair to discussion of LLM property rights.

As Ray Wang, founder of Constellation, and frequent commentator for Fox, and MSN business news stated, “Intellectual property rights in the era of large language models (LLMs) need to evolve as insights can expire in 10 seconds, 10 hours, 10 days, 10 months, or 10 years—making it essential to balance innovation with long-term value protection.”

Pete Erickson, founder of MODEV and creator of the AI House, shared, “The CES AI House provided immense value by educating both companies and customers on the transformative power of AI while building trust in its real-world applications. It’s unique as it focused on building trust, not selling something.”

What makes it innovative? The focus on education and practical AI implementation empowers businesses to adopt AI with confidence.

The CES Multi-Tasking Household Robot

Imagine a robot that vacuums, organizes, purifies air, monitors your pets, and even delivers food while you relax. The SwitchBot K20+ Pro is an upcoming multitasking household robot revealed at CES 2025. Unlike single-function robots, it can vacuum, purify the air, deliver small items, and help monitor home security, all in one device.

It was interesting to me after I had seen demos for robots cleaning windows, vacuuming, cleaning pools, feeding pets, and the list goes on. I was worried about how many of these machines would invade my home! This is one robot for all!

What makes it innovative? The combination of multiple smart home functions into one unified device creates a truly all-in-one solution for modern households.

Mudra Neural Wristband

I have a jacket that I can touch my cuff to allow me to change my slides! I love the easiest to use devices. So when I saw the Mudra Neural Wristband at CES I was so excited. It transforms your hand into a controller using electromyography sensors. This groundbreaking innovation opens up new possibilities for AR/VR control, accessibility, and even productivity tools. I want one.

What makes it innovative? It turns biological signals into digital inputs, making technology more intuitive and inclusive.

AI Experiences From Companies like Universal and Stitch Fix

Customer experiences were a very intriguing use case for AI at CES. Rather than focusing on revenue directly or cost-cutting, many examples showcased how AI can transform the overall experience.

Gartner has noted that ‘Customer Experience is the last form of true competitive advantage,’ and this was clearly demonstrated. Gartner also emphasizes that “by 2025, customer experience will overtake price and product as the key brand differentiator for businesses.”

From a panel on AI In Retail lead by Andi Huels, head of Growth and Founding Partnerships at Vody, we heard about Universal Destinations and Experiences’s tech-driven experiences. They showcased how AI can enhance visitor enjoyment by assisting shoppers in finding memorable souvenirs from the gift shop and using AI to predict ride wait times for a smoother experience. These innovations help guests make the most of their park visit.

Stitch Fix highlighted its use of AI-driven fashion recommendations. By analyzing user preferences and purchase behavior, Stitch Fix provides personalized clothing selections, making shopping more convenient and tailored.

What makes these examples innovative? Both Universal and Stitch Fix enhance customer experiences by leveraging AI technology to create more immersive, personalized, and engaging interactions, setting a new standard for user engagement across industries.

A spoon that alters taste? Yes! I loved this one! Kirin introduced a spoon that uses a light electronic current to make food taste saltier without added sodium—addressing global health concerns around salt consumption while improving diet control. I have a family member with diabetes and he has to carefully watch his intake of salt and sugar (maybe sugar could be next Kirin?)

What makes it innovative? It uses subtle electrical stimulation to alter taste perception, a game-changer for health-conscious consumers.

The Famous CES FQ Walk Experience

The FQ Female Walk Experience, led by Shelley Zalis, Founder of Female Quotient (FQ), was a powerful walk around the CES show floor with 250 women, showcasing innovation while celebrating women’s achievements in technology and leadership. This visibility is essential for encouraging more women to participate in the tech space.

What makes it innovative? It amplifies diversity in tech spaces, empowering female leadership and visibility.

Battery and Recharge Like Flint Paper Battery and Swippitt

I had to recharge my battery so many times as I walked the floor of CES. So I was thrilled when I ran into the Singaporean startup Flint. They revealed a paper battery made from cellulose, offering a sustainable alternative to lithium-ion batteries. It’s significant because it could revolutionize energy storage with biodegradable, flexible battery solutions.

I also loved Swippitt, a toaster-like device that charges your phone in seconds!

What makes it innovative? Power will continue to be an issue as we move forward. Its biodegradable design and flexibility make it a potential disruptor in sustainable energy storage.

Smart Glasses

And now for a surprise in a small booth! The Halliday smart glasses, unveiled at CES 2025, are redefining wearable technology with a unique invisible display design. Unlike conventional smart glasses with lens-based displays, Halliday integrates the world’s smallest optical module (just 3.6mm) directly into the frame. Despite its size, the display offers a field of view comparable to a 3.5-inch screen, providing clarity and functionality without compromising the lens itself.

These AI-powered smart glasses deliver features similar to the Meta Ray-Bans but with a significantly lighter and sleeker form factor. I could noticeably tell a different in weight!

The display, called the “Digi Window,” shows green-tinted graphics like icons, text, and symbols. It supports real-time AI translations in over 40 languages, teleprompter capabilities, notifications (texts, music titles, lyrics), and even turn-by-turn navigation.

My favorite AI Smart Glasses at CES – Halliday

They were quite comfortable to wear with an amazing design and positioning of the display. Located just above the right lens, the user must slightly glance upward to view information, keeping the main field of vision clear for an uninterrupted experience. This thoughtful positioning balances visibility with safety and comfort.

Why is it innovative? The Halliday smart glasses break new ground by combining ultra-lightweight materials, a discreet optical module, and functional AI integrations into a stylish, comfortable design. Their invisible display approach not only enhances user experience but also challenges conventional smart glasses design by balancing technology with everyday usability.

Patented Digital Interactions by WiSA

WiSA Technologies showcased innovations that transform how we interact with digital environments. Their latest technologies focus on creating virtual models, sharing data invisibly through audio, and providing immersive visual experiences. These advancements aim to revolutionize education, personal branding, and digital collaboration by making content more interactive and personalized.

What makes these innovations significant? WiSA holds patents for its Web 3.0 technologies that focus on secure data sharing, enhanced digital presence through digital twins, and improved audience engagement. These tools are designed to simplify the way people learn, share, and experience content in digital spaces.

I walked into one CES hall and saw it. A vehicle with a two-person drone inside, ready for all the adventures I’ve dreamed of.

Xpeng’s AeroHT is a groundbreaking fusion of a luxury ground vehicle and a two-person electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, redefining personal mobility. The design consists of a sleek, ground-based “mothership” that houses the detachable eVTOL, combining the freedom of road travel with the exhilaration of flight.

It’s not just a concept—Xpeng has secured over 3,000 orders and plans to begin deliveries in 2026, making it one of the first truly functional flying car concepts poised for market entry.

Why is it Innovative? This really reimagines personal transportation by merging two advanced mobility concepts into a single product: a ground-based luxury vehicle paired with a fully functional two-person electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. Unlike traditional flying car concepts, the AeroHT offers dual-purpose versatility, allowing users to seamlessly switch between ground and air travel based on their needs. The Big Picture

CES 2025 proved that innovation isn’t just about new gadgets—it’s about transformative experiences. From agentic AI reshaping the workforce to health and sustainability breakthroughs, and blockchain and Web3, the future feels more connected, automated, and empowering than ever before.
