JSL’s fall fashionista!

Sweater season is almost here. At Jewish Senior Life’s trendy retail boutiques in Meer Apartments and Fleischman Residences on the West Bloomfield campus, resident models pose for an enthusiastic audience at both buildings’ annual fashion shows. They showed off this season’s hottest styles as they strutted their pieces in front of the .

On September 24, the Mia Dining Room became a fashion hub as 15 male and female residents happily paraded down the catwalk, delighting family, friends and neighbors in comfortable fall clothing and accessories from the Mia Boutique .

On September 27, nine residents of both Hechtman Apartments and Fleischman Residences participated in a festive fashion show in the Fleischman lobby featuring beautiful shirts, vests, jackets, and sweaters from Sharon’s Boutique.

The event was emceed by Beth Robinson, director of Friends of Jewish Senior Life, the organization’s volunteer arm. After the fashion show, residents shopped their way through the boutiques, with net proceeds from all sales going toward JSL’s programs and events.
