German Prime Minister Olaf Scholz has launched a strong defense of Ukraine, saying that it cannot be imposed on Kiev with a peace agreement to end the three-year Russian invasion.

“There will only be peace if Ukraine’s sovereignty is secured,” he said on the second day of the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.

“Therefore, the oral peace will never find our support,” Skolts blames President Donald Trump for discussing with the Russian president of Ukrainians and Ukrainians without the participation of Ukrainians. did.

The German leader, facing tough elections at home next week, said Berlin would not accept “any solution” to a long-term conflict that would “segregation” between Europe and the US security.

“There’s only one person to benefit from this. Putin,” he said.

His comments came as European leaders were trying to understand the tough new lines from the new US administration regarding the future of Ukraine.

Earlier this week, Trump announced he had called Putin, during which the two leaders agreed to meet soon to negotiate a peace deal in Ukraine.

The US President and his best security and diplomats also suggested that Ukraine must accept most of Russia’s demands to end the war.

Trump later assured Ukrainian President Voldimir Zelenki that he would also sit at the table for peace talks.

European military

Zelensky said on Saturday it would be “dangerous” if Trump met Putin before he met him, and Ukraine would never accept peace deals he reached without Kiev’s involvement or without Kiev’s involvement. He said it was. War with Russia.

Zelensky also said he would only agree to meet with Putin in person after a common plan negotiated with Trump. “A few days ago, President Trump told me about his conversation with Putin. He never mentioned America needs Europe at the table. That’s a lot to say.”

On Saturday, Scholz said Kiev supporters would need to build Ukrainian troops in the future to ensure that Russia does not attack again if peace is reached.

“To make this happen, we are responsible for the postwar era of international partners and friends in Europe, the US and Ukraine.”

Zelensky strengthens his desire for a more muscular and powerful Europe, and the three-year battle with the Russian army in Ukraine has long been debated among several continental leaders for the creation of the European army He said he has proven that the foundation exists.

“I really believe the time has come. We have to create an army of Europe,” Zelensky said.

“No cooperation” with the far right

Meanwhile, Scholz rejected foreign interference in German elections after attacking the way European governments tried to counter bids for political influences by far-right groups such as German AFD alternatives.

Germany “doesn’t accept our democracy, the outsiders who intervene in elections. That’s not appropriate – not particularly among friends and allies,” he said after Vance’s criticism.

“We definitely see that extreme rights should remain outside the political decision-making process and will not cooperate with them,” Scholz later told reporters.

“There is no fascism again, no racism again, no offensive wars again. That’s why our overwhelming majority of the country opposes those who praise or justify criminal national socialism,” he said. Scholz said, referring to Adolf Hitler’s ideology of the Nazi regime in 1933-1945.

French Foreign Minister Jean Noel Barlott also defended European policy after Vance’s speech.

“Freedom of expression is guaranteed in Europe,” Barott said in X after Vance claimed he was “retreating.” “No one is obligated to adopt our model, but no one can impose them on us.”

On Friday, Vance accused them of limiting free speech by launching broadsides, particularly against Europe and Germany, and by excluding parties who voice strong concerns about immigrants, including far-right AFDs. Vance later met AFD leader Alice Weidel.

The Social Democrats in Scholz’s centre-left are currently third in the poll with around 15% before voting next week, with AFD’s expected second-place finish of 20%, with an estimated 30 for conservative CDU/CSU Bloc %is.
