At Karachi Chronicle, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we have implemented procedures for responding to notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe that any content on our website infringes upon your copyright, please follow the process outlined below to submit a notice.
1. Notification of Copyright Infringement
If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement on our website, you may notify us by providing a written notice to our Designated Copyright Agent. The notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered by a single notification, please provide a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material (e.g., the URL(s) of the infringing content).
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner’s behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature (or the signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright).
