in short
Since the full -fledged invasion of Ukraine in Russia, interest in central Asian countries has been increasing: Kazakhstan, Kirgi Stan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan. Although the relationship between these countries has been significantly improved, there are particular issues related to water, energy and food security. In Central Asia, Russia is a systematic factor, and China is also responsible for leadership. Many other countries are interested in cooperating with Central Asia. EU can play a bigger role in particular. The EU can be engaged in energy security and transition, water management, agriculture, connection, education, regional security, human rights, democracy, and regionalization.
Since the full -fledged invasion of Ukraine in Russia in 2022, Kazakhstan, Kirgi Stan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan have been strongly interested in the Republic of Central Asia. However, in contrary to the story of the “new great game” that presents the region as a battlefield for greater power, Central Asian nations diversify their own agendas and their international relations. We prove that we are taking initiative.
This is all performed in rapid evolving geopolitical contexts. This report is outlined through six dynamics of interactive mapping. The EU can also play a role in Eurasia’s geopolitical context, which evolves quickly. Since the Central Asian state values the involvement of Europe, both need to use the attention of the region to further strengthen the relationship.
The EU has argued that since 2019, he wants to take a more geopolitical approach in transactions around the world. If the EU wants to be successful, this policy should be backed up by specific involvement by including local cooperation, including education and trade, for example, including education. The same is true for other elements of that policy. This report identifies eight of these areas of the EU in accordance with the EU strategy in Central Asia. All points are important, but points related to water management and agriculture need to be particularly related to the Netherlands in “execution of bits.”
In order to further enhance the relationship between the EU -Central Asia, this report ends by submitting some recommendations in Central Asian relations in line with the EU’s geopolitical ambition.
