IAI delivers 350th F-35 wing to Lockheed Martin
Tel Aviv, February 12, 2026:
Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has delivered the 350th F-35 fighter wing to Lockheed Martin, marking a significant milestone in the long-running F-35 program. The wing was manufactured and assembled using advanced and innovative technology at IAI’s facilities.
This milestone was commemorated at a special ceremony held at IAI’s F-35 wing assembly line attended by senior Israeli government officials, including the Israeli Minister of Defense, as well as senior management from Lockheed Martin and IAI.
Lockheed Martin’s F-35 is the world’s most advanced stealth fighter aircraft, serving the U.S. Air Force, Navy, and Marine Corps, as well as the Israeli Air Force and many militaries around the world. It conducts operational activities alongside the Israeli Air Force, playing a key role in multi-disciplinary missions and directly contributing to Israel’s aviation security and national defense.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said: “The delivery of 350 wings of F-35 fighter jets is an important milestone. The strategic alliance between Israel and the United States is not just a partnership, but a deep and enduring friendship rooted in shared values. We are stronger together, and we will continue to be stronger, as we have shown time and time again during the intervening years, especially during the historic Operation Rising Lion and Operation Midnight Hammer, which devastated Iran’s nuclear program.” Thanks to U.S. President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the ties between our two countries are stronger than ever and poised to meet any challenges ahead, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the employees of IAI and our partners at Lockheed Martin for making this accomplishment possible. ”
“The delivery of the 350th F-35 wing is a powerful symbol of the ironclad partnership between the United States and Israel,” said U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. “This is not just a manufacturing milestone, but a commitment to national security through technological excellence. It is a testament to our shared commitment. When Israeli innovation and American industry work together, the result is unparalleled capabilities that strengthen both countries. We are proud to celebrate this with IAI and Lockheed Martin.” A remarkable achievement. ”
“The continued success of the F-35 program is made possible by a network of dedicated suppliers like IAI around the world,” said Nick Drazik, vice president of operations for Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. “For 40 years, IAI has been a collaborative, innovative and reliable partner, ensuring that Lockheed Martin’s warplanes provide our customers with the capabilities they need to keep the peace through strength.”
“The delivery of the 350th F-35 wing is a testament to the strength of IAI’s long-standing partnership with Lockheed Martin and the extensive defense and aerospace cooperation between Israel and the United States,” said Boaz Levy, President and CEO of IAI. “This milestone reflects decades of close collaboration with U.S. industry, built on shared values, advanced technology, and a mutual commitment to support critical defense programs.”
“This milestone reflects IAI Aviation’s daily collaboration with Lockheed Martin on the F-35 wing assembly line. Since 2014, our team has consistently delivered high-quality wings through advanced manufacturing methods and disciplined assembly processes. Reaching our 350 wing goal is a testament to the strength of our production capabilities and the dedication of our team,” said Yaacov Berkovitz, Vice President and General, IAI Aviation.
IAI has been producing F-35 wings since 2014 and plays a key role in the F-35 program. IAI and Lockheed Martin’s strategic alliance dates back to the late 1980s and reflects decades of trusted partnership, technical cooperation, and a shared commitment to mission success.
