Last week, a new Instagram account posted the first group of seemingly random photos with the caption, “All my girls are sparkly girls,” and the hashtags kiiikii and “Who is kiiikii?”

The account aesthetically reminiscent of Tumblr blogs from the late 00’s, but belongs to Kiiikii, the latest girl group from Korean entertainment company Starship Entertainment. The Teenage Pop Group, which is scheduled to drop their debut album on March 24th, has posted their first music video for their first music video, “Prerelease single “I Do Me.” Already with over a million views, the video was released before the company announced the names of group members.

Members of the group were officially featured on Monday night by Starship Entertainment, which has groups such as Ive, Monsta X and WJSN, local time in Korea. Kiiikiii consists of five members.

Jiu-Jitsu (18 years old) is a vocalist, rapper, dancer and group leader. She is said to be the exact leader of the group. Leesol, 19, is a rapper and the eldest son of the group. She is said to be charismatic and chic. The 18-year-old Sui is a vocalist and is said to have a warm and friendly presence when performing. Haum, 18, is a vocalist and rapper. She is said to be a expressive dancer. At 14, KYA is a vocalist and the youngest member of the group. She is said to be energetic.

“We’re all excited just thinking about our debut! Kiiikiii has an exclusive statement to Thr, and it feels like our dreams are coming true. “It’s so much fun to shoot the ‘I Do Me’ music video. It was an experience. We hope everyone gives lots of love to “I do me”!! debut our debut is coming soon, so wait a little longer! ”

Both the song and music video for “I Do Me” are a continuation of Y2K nostalgia that has dominated K-Pop for the past few years, but it feels like a breath of fresh air. The song is contagious, catchy, and is a soundtrack worthy of sleeping parties and outdoor adventures. The music video offers a fun, fun, youthful feel, and youthful look with a large set of shiny mountain views. The group hopes to guide the genre’s “new wave of self-expression and credibility,” according to the release.

Kiiikiii is scheduled to officially debut in March with its first EP, Uncut Gem. Their pre-release single “I Do Me” has now been pre-saved and will be released on February 24th. Detailed behind the scenes photos of the song’s music video can be found below.
