Openai CEO Sam Altman announced on X that a new update to the CHATGPT-4O is being rolled out. He didn’t specify what these changes would involve, but Altman vaguely pointed out that the model was “pretty good” and “it’s going to get much better soon.”

AI researcher Andrei Karpathy said its personality changed after using the model. They are in a pinch of Sus and even protect themselves when they are accused of lying. ”

Other users described changes that chatbots tend to reaffirm their emotions further.

Some users say the chatbots “What do you think?

Last week, Openai made changes to its guidelines on how AI models behave in terms of how sensitive topics will be handled in the future.

“Assistants should generate erotica, depictions of illegal or unconsensual sexual activity, or extreme gore, except in other contexts in which scientific, historical, news, creative, or sensitive content is appropriate. Not that,” the company said in its blog. “This includes text, audio (e.g., erotic or violent visceral noise), or depictions of visual content.”

Additionally, the team said that instead of providing more honest feedback, AI models, including ChatGPT, are working on AI psychofancy, where users tend to agree to what they are saying.

The document also promises that ChatGpt will “seek for the truth” more, and the model is more willing to respond to controversial questions while maintaining a moral position rather than avoiding it entirely. I promised that I was willing to do so.

It appears that the latest updates have mentioned some of these changes.
