Vivo has just launched its latest smartphone, the Vivo V50 in India, and marks a new era in the mid-range segment with a blend of cutting-edge features and impressive specifications. With a starting price of Rs 34,999, the V50 is designed for those who need the perfect balance between performance and camera quality without breaking the bank. Available in three configurations, you can choose from 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage. The device comes in three sophisticated colors: rose red, starry night and titanium grey, allowing users to choose the style that suits their individuality.

Advance reservations for the V50 are already open and are available through Vivo’s official website, as well as through select offline stores such as Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, and Vijay Sales. Open sales are scheduled to begin on February 25th, 2025.

For those keen to grab this smartphone early, Vivo offers an attractive launch offer. Purchases with HDFC or SBI bank cards will give you a discount of up to 10%. There is also a replacement bonus of up to 10% for those who are upgrading from their older phones. On top of that, buyers can grab the Vivo TWS 3E earphones at a discounted price of Rs 1,499 when purchasing the V50. Vivo also offers non-cost EMI options for up to six months, making it easier to own this device.

The standout feature of the Vivo V50 is the dual 50MP rear camera setup, co-designed with Zeiss. The camera system includes a primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and an ultra-width lens, making it easy to capture sharp, wide-angle shots. Thanks to Zeiss Collaboration, users can enjoy unique portrait modes such as Cine-Flare, Planar, and Biotar. The wedding style portrait mode is a particularly interesting feature tailored to Indian users and is designed to enhance the colour and lighting for beautiful wedding photos. The front camera also boasts a 50mp sensor with AI facial contour technology rather than leaning forward. This makes the selfies look perfect in their pictures with sophisticated proportions.

In addition to camera capabilities, the Vivo V50 comes with several AI-powered tools that improve the overall smartphone experience. Running on Android 15 using Funtouchos 15, the phone offers innovative features such as live call translation, which converts speeches to text in real time, and AI transcripts can transfer audio recordings to text. We will support you. The AI screen translation feature helps you translate text on the screen, while the Circle to Search function provides gesture-based visual search through Google.

When craftsmanship discovers elegance, the Vivo V50 is born. On a red and starry night.

Experience awaits. Prebook now! https://t.co/q44clux0sz#vivov50 #zeissportraitsopro pic.twitter.com/bky11eer0q — Vivo India (@vivo_india) February 17th, February 2025

Performance-wise, the Vivo V50 won’t be disappointed. It boasts a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4500 nits, offering smooth visuals and excellent clarity. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, the V50 handles multitasking, gaming and heavy apps with ease. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and 512GB of storage (UFS 2.2) for quick access to apps and media. For battery life, the Vivo V50 packs a massive 6000mAh battery and pairs it with a 90W fast charging to keep your phone onboard throughout the day. Plus, with an IP68 + IP69 rating, the V50 is water-resistant and dust-resistant, making it a durable option for anyone who needs a reliable phone.

The Vivo V50 combines high-end features, powerful performance and extraordinary money value. With an impressive camera system, a fast processor, a beautiful display and a long-term battery, the Vivo V50 is a solid contender for the mid-range smartphone market. Whether you’re interested in photography, gaming or need a reliable all-around device, the V50 stands out as an excellent option.
