In an interview with Dubai US media personality Tucker Carlson, Prime Minister Victor Orban said, “We have been doing something in Hungary for 15 years with liberal headwinds, stop moving, protect traditional values, and the religious community. Respect for… taxation, so everything is unorthodox in the mind of a liberal.”
“The new reality is that Donald Trump has changed the way west think about politically,” Oban told Carlson at the World Government Summit. He said that Western liberal elites used US taxpayer money to spread ideology around the world. “In Hungary, we funded more than 60 NGOs, politicians and the media in a conspiracy against our sovereignty and independence,” he added.
In major developments, Donald Trump has changed the way Western political thinking is on issues such as migration and green trading, Oban said. “As for the latter, everyone says that the priority is economic competitiveness and that the greening issue only arises later,” he added.
Traditional families were also considered “better.” Those mediated peace was considered “bad” when it comes to wars in Ukraine, but “now it’s the opposite,” Orban said.
