Dana White – Francis Ngannou killed “major obstacles” because Dana White killed a dreamlike UFC fight.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannow is targeting UFC CEO Dana White as he has not had a huge hit with the heavyweight icon, one of the best fighters in MMA history. The fighter in question is none other than dominant heavyweight champion John Jones. During Jones’ break, Nganou ruled the heavyweights and made his fight seem easy. But by the time Jones returned to the Octagon, Ngannou had already left the UFC for the Professional Fighters League (PFL).

The dream match between the two Titans never came to fruition, and fans were disappointed. Now Ngannou points his finger at the white, accusing him of blocking the fight. This is what the Cameroonian power had to say.

Francis Ngannow’s Accusations: Dana White blocked the battle of the century

Francis Ngannow did not tick words when discussing the failed negotiations for John Jones’ superfight. In a recent interview with Sportsbook Review, the PFL heavyweight champion revealed his complaints with Dana White, calling the UFC boss a “big obstacle” in making the fight come true.

“I think that could potentially happen,” Nganou said. “If we can get you past Dana White, that could happen (but) it’s a big obstacle. Personally, I don’t care. I’m fine. I’m at my own pace. I’m doing it. I don’t care. It doesn’t change my sleep.”

Ngannou’s comments highlight the long-standing saga. The Cameroon knockout artist revealed that he had been seeking a fight for Jones since 2020, shortly after his victory over Jeaginhosenstrick. However, he claims that the UFC hanged a matchup as bait to put him under contract.

“It’s okay to finish my career without fighting John Jones,” Nganou added. “I tried to fight Jon Jones for the four years since I fought Jairzinho Rozenstruik in 2020. I’m Jon Jones. I was trying to fight, but they held back like a trap until the moment I was about to leave. And they said, “Okay, here’s the fight for John Jones.” But it was bait. They felt very tricky.”

The opportunity you missed

The fight between Francis Ngannow and Jones was one of the most anticipated matches in UFC history. The technical glow of Ngannou’s Raw Power and Jones promised an age conflict. However, with Ngannou currently in the PFL and Jones defending the UFC heavyweight title, The Dream appears to be almost dead.

What’s next for ngannou?

Despite the disappointment, the ngannou is not in the flaws. After leaving the UFC, he secured a lucrative boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua while governing as the PFL heavyweight champion. For ngannou, the fight for Jones is no longer a priority. “I’m doing my own thing at my own pace,” he said repeatedly, focusing on paving my way outside the UFC.

Francis Ngannow’s fiery statements highlight the complexity of fighting negotiations in combat sports. While his showdown with John Jones may remain “what if,” Ngannou’s career continues to thrive on his own terms. As for Dana White, the accusation adds another layer to his controversial relationship with one of MMA’s most frightening stars.
