Longlegs was the 2024 box office story, winning more than $100 million worldwide on a budget of less than $10 million. By the end of the theatre run it was last year’s best-selling independent film.
If you were waiting for Longlegs to hit a streaming service you already paid for, your patience has finally been rewarded. It will be available on Hulu from February 14th. And if you’re looking for more recent horror after checking out Long Legs, another indie darling from the horror genre is heading for streaming after the stellar box office roster: Terrifier 3.
However, it’s not just something to see at home, it’s just something scary. New Mel Gibson Director Mark Wahlberg Action Flick Flight Flight Risk will land digitally this weekend. And Flow, a fun, dialogueless film that has earned the best features of OSCAR, is making its streaming debut on Max.
Here are some things you need to know about theatrical films you can stream as of this week and where you can find them.

Long Rug
Nicholas Cage’s long legs. (Commentary of Neon/Everett Collection)
Marketing at Longlegs often evokes the silence of the Lamb and for good reason. This is a good comparison, as the film works exactly like one of the many imitators that came out in the mid-90s and the ’00s to late ’00s. The aftermath of the victory of the best photo of the lamb. These films have essentially become their own subgenre: think of Se7en, the bone collector, and take your life. The Longlegs sit comfortably between them.
It’s you guessed, you guessed it, FBI agent (Maika Monroe) investigates serial killers and reveals occult connections in the process. Nicholas Cage plays the nominal long leg, and his outstanding performance and creepy presence really elevates all his scenes. Act 3 becomes a complete Gonzo horror, so this film is familiar to the rest of the time. Still, the performances of Cage and Monroe, as well as the incredibly creepy vibe that director Osgood Perkins came up with, make it worthy of your time.

Terrifier 3
David Howard Thornton from Terrifier 3 (Course of the Cineverse/Everett Collection)
All reviews of Terrifier Movie must have a warning at the top. These films are insanely gory, not for everyone. The franchise is intended exclusively for horror die hard. This is almost entirely watching people fall apart or brutally killed in the craziest way I can imagine.
If you’re not familiar, they are novel films with clowns who kill people in increasingly vicious and excessive ways, and these deaths are always achieved with practical effects. David Howard Thornton starred as the newly created horror icon art, “The Clown,” with the third entry inhabiting the tried-and-true horror subgenre, the Christmas Vibe. What else do I need to know? If you are interested in blood and courage and don’t mind your tongue of fear, you will have almost as good a time as clowns see this as the art of killing people. And he really loves killing people.

Flight risk
Mark Wahlberg of Flight Risk (course of the Lions Gate Film/Everett Collection)
Oscar-winning director Mel Gibson may seem like a strange fit to an action film starring Mark Wahlberg, but that doesn’t stop him from getting a job did! It certainly stands out on his resume. His last film he directed was Hacksaw Ridge in 2016, which was bombarded with Oscar nominations, and all other films he directed were also nominated for Oscars. For Braveheart, he won!
Flight risk could end this streak. It’s a film in which a fugitive (Topher Grace) is transferred to trial via an airplane, where the plane kills a witness and is hijacked by a bad guy (Mark Wahlberg) there to stop his testimony.
It’s fitting that the film will be available at home just a few weeks after it premieres in theaters. It was probably better because of the lack of momentum when Mark Wahlberg wasn’t doing anything when it had that nasty cut, cheap visual effects and lack of momentum. It’s still worth noting that Wahlberg has returned to the role of pure villain, and how he looks with his head shaved. No, it’s not a bald hat!
How to watch: Flight Risk can now be rented or purchased on Prime Video and other video-on-demand platforms.

Better Man
Jono Davis as the better man Robbie Williams. (Photos of Paramount/Provided by Everett Collection)
There’s no need to know who Robbie Williams is grateful for the better, but did the recognition of the name help stop it from becoming one of the biggest bombs of the year? How do they sell their audience in biopics of unfamiliar characters? In this case, you, of course, cast CGI monkeys, made by the people behind the Lord of the Rings Monkeys and Gollum instead of a-lister!
The pitch here is very audience friendly and the miracle it was made, but it is the ambition that helps to make it stand out. The musical tells the life story of British singer Robbie Williams. Robbie Williams may know from a pop group or from his solo career. I always felt that I hadn’t evolved more than others. The other characters are all human-played, but they have not commented on his appearance throughout the film.
It is a bold conceit that allows a better man to transcend the boundaries of his traditional biographies. For example, genre cliches are as easy as knocking down others about the parasitic nature of the people around Williams, and the films say that singers don’t think of themselves as artists too high. It is shown.
It’s a very high concept, an ambitious and expensive film, and it’s amazing to touch your heart if you’re willing to go where the film takes you.

flow
Still from the flow. (Provided by Janus Film/Everett Collection)
Flow proves that it can speak to a parable of climate change that doesn’t overwhelm your head with its message. This is a beautifully designed, unique animated film that cleverly captures animals, especially lead cats – movement. You may incorrectly assume that motion capture technology has been used.
Imagine an animated film of children made at a typical American film lab about a group of animals talking in adventures. However, except that they don’t speak at all, “adventures” are simply a group of different creatures to survive in the aftermath of the Great Flood, working together to adapt to their new world.
Children will enjoy cute animals, and for parents, the display of hope resonates in the face of highly relevant adversity.
