“Awakened Hand, Awakened Heart” by Louis Vuitton and his creative director Francesca Amfittler is the second in a series of high jewelry collections inspired by 19th century French craftsmanship and innovations in science. It consists of seven themes and 50 pieces, and features a unique diamond shape and large coloured gems strategically arranged.

Much of the theme is based on open work techniques and design, with the main piece of each theme being necklaces, most of which are bold and impressive. The brand doesn’t say that, but there is an Art Deco influence on the geometric patterns of openwork. The theme makes sense as it is primarily based on important engineering and architectural monuments.

Victory

For example, the main theme of the collection is titled “Victorie,” inspired by the Eiffel Tower (pictured above). The collection represented about 4,000 hours of work, Louis Vuitton said.

This motif hero piece is a high collared necklace built using openwork platinum and yellow gold to recreate the architecture of the famous monument. However, in order to maintain a relationship with the brand, complex patterns form a “V” in the center of the work.

The main gems in this elaborate necklace are the 10.43 carat D color of the diamond, perfect internally, and 3.08 carat D color of the diamond, perfect internally. Both were shaped into their own “LV Monogram Star” shape. Running along the length of the multi-tier necklace is 33 yellow diamonds.

Complementing the necklace is a white gold pendant earring with 5.05 carats and 5.07 carat yellow diamonds. Each earring is further enhanced with 1.09 carat LV monogram star diamond and additional diamonds.

Complete the collection by a bracelet featuring the same openwork V-shaped design as a necklace with 3.98 carat yellow diamonds and a ring centered around 2.56 carat diamonds.

vision

The “Vision” is based on the 19th century railways, the backbone of the Industrial Revolution, and the opening of wide-scale travel in Europe. Louis Vuitton says the hero necklace interprets railway tracks to clarify each layer of multi-stranded gemstones made of platinum, yellow gold and diamonds. Among the woven diamonds, 50.01 carat octagonal step-cut yellow Sri Lanka sapphire. Under the sapphire, wrapped in a diamond set V design pattern is a 3.07 carat LV monogram starcut diamond. Vision necklaces are complemented by similarly designed bracelets, earrings and rings.

dynamism

The next collection, entitled “Dynamisme,” demonstrates the 3D effect using two-stranded open chevron motifs that focus on technical talent. Louis Vuitton likens the patterns created by his collection to the interior machining of bicycles and engines. Links work together to relay visual effects. The use of platinum and yellow gold accentuates the triangular contrast. The round diamond is angled in yellow gold, and refers to the Louis Vuitton “V” to the domino effect. Again, the same design is found on the bracelet, earrings and rings.

gravity

The “Gravité” collection uses precious metals as “conduits,” and according to the luxury brand, they play with a variety of settings and diamond cuts. Rectangular, triangle, round pavement set diamonds line up precious metal chains, screws and overlaps, with a V-shaped pendant holding a removable 6.48 carat Kashmir sapphire, and two additional 4.38 kalat Kashmir sapphires mentioned above I will hold it. This white gold diamond and sapphire necklace required 2,058 hours of work. Furthermore, the triple-stranded collared necklace mimics the interaction of geometric patterns and overlays. Rings and bracelets round out the collection.

Elegant

For the “Elegance” collection, the white gold and LV monogram star-cut diamonds in woven trellis patterns are the dominant design themes of headbands attached to the forehead, convertible bracelets, two pairs of earrings and brooches.

Phenomenal

Inspired by the art of French porcelain, “Phenomenal” creates rope motifs using famous lattice works, ornate details and colorful layers. Reaffirm the use of Amfitheatrof signatures in bold and geometric joints in a necklace rich in Louis Vuitton iconography. Rounded with a pattern of threaded links from a diamond set, and threaded links from a diamond set ring, the central strand of the design is woven with gold and diamonds, forming the signature “V” of the luxury brand. Below the LV Monogram Starcut Diamond is a 7.44 carat Colombian emerald. The same open woven motif is used for complementary necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.

Men’s Compass Watch Pendant

A new feature in the High Jewelry Collection is men’s capsule pieces. This is a chain of compass watch pendant necklaces. The diamonds surround the face of the compass with alternating patterns of paved metal with straight, curved lines. The caseback is further enhanced with 2.71 and 2.16 carat Tsavorites. A 4.55 carat tzball is secured at the top of the diamond pavement chain.

Splendor

The “Splendeur” pendant necklace is inspired by the ornate craftsmanship of the French Imperial Palace. The floral motifs embedded in royal furniture of the era inspire Louis Vuitton’s iconic monogram flowers. The petals in the pendant design come in alternating yellow gold and platinum patterns with diamond pinpricks that emphasize the anatomy and movement of the floral. The heart of the pendant’s iconic motif is a Mozam Vehicle, totaling 8.69 carats. The diamond and gold chain fixed to another ruby give the overall piece a sense of balance. The collection is complemented by matching the ring and earrings.
