Singapore: Assam Prime Minister Himanta Biswa Salma arrived in Singapore yesterday for a two-day visit, where he is scheduled to meet the country’s best government officials and industry leaders. Upon his arrival he was warmly greeted by the High Commissioner of India in Singapore, Amur in Shilpakh.

During the visit, CM Sarma had an insightful discussion with semiconductor industry leaders, focusing on potential collaborations to strengthen Indo-Singapore relationships. The discussion highlighted the importance of the sector in Assam’s development. Especially in the future electronic cities of Jagiroad,

Expressing our gratitude, CM Sarma thanked ASMPT, AEM, BESI, Temasek, Silicon Box, Nitto Denko Corp, Heller Industries and Meinhardt Group for participating in the meeting. He also expressed his enthusiasm to build this momentum and advance Assam’s vision for technological and industrial growth.

Meanwhile, Assam positioned the state as India’s next industrial 4.0 hub and held high-level discussions with Reliance Industry Chairman Mukesh Ambani and his son Anant Ambani, who led Assam to be a major industrial transformation. I’ve set my position.

The February 8 meeting focused on how Reliance Industries could help this change. Assam aims to become a key centre for innovation and industrial growth as new technologies improve manufacturing. The reliance industry, known for its contribution to India’s industrial and technological growth, was expected to play an important role in shaping this vision.
