Shiv Sena of Uddhav Thackeray said that the rift between India bloc partners Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress contributed to the victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s landslide.

In the Delhi Congress election contest from 70 members, the BJP removed the capital’s Arvind Kejriwal-led party from power by bagging 48 seats. The AAP was guaranteed to only 22 seats, resulting in a massive defeat. Meanwhile, the Congress continued to present disastrous performances, drawing a gap for the third consecutive time in the assembly elections in Delhi.
The Samana editor states, “In Delhi, both the AAP and the Congress fought to destroy each other, facilitating Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. If this continues, why form an alliance Do you do it? You just have to fight the content in your heart!”
Both the AAP and the Congress took several pot shots of each other through the campaign in the Delhi elections.
Similar retreats in Haryana Maharashtra
A similar setback between the opposition parties has also caused disappointment in Maharashtra, adding that the BJP-led coalition won the 2024 state assembly poll.
