0242 GMT – King of Jordan speaks with leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE and Germany
Jordan’s King Abdullah II discussed with world leaders and emphasized the need to maintain a ceasefire in Gaza, halt the expansion of settlements and prevent forced displacement of Palestinians.
King Abdullah met German President Frank Walter Steinmeier at Al-Hussenya Palace in Amman.
He praised “German support for peace efforts based on two state solutions and sending aid to Gaza,” according to a statement from the Royal Court of Jordan.
In a call with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, King Abdullah discussed “the latest regional development, particularly the dangerous situation in Gaza.”
King Abdullah also spoke with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who said, “We need to maintain Arab coordination to efficiently deal with regional development, particularly Gaza and the Jordan River banks. “Sexuality” emphasized.
King Abdullah also called with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, during which he emphasized the “necessity of international support for the Palestinians to acquire a fully legitimate right.”
