The centre is planning a “national roadmap” to cultivate Indian manufacturing of aerospace components and is seeking industry proposals for 10 and 20 years of planning.

The first of the series of meetings was held on the subject at the Ministry of Civil Aviation on Friday, following a push from the Prime Minister’s office. The meeting was chaired by Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu, and is a stakeholder of the Indian Federation of Industry, the secretary of the former equipment manufacturer, including the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), and the President of India, V. Airbus staff, Boeing Sarilgupte, and MRO, NITI AAYOG research institutes and staff, and the Department of Commerce.

Minister Naidu has agreed to a proposal from the industry for the purpose of achieving India’s 100 years of independence by 2047 on a detailed aerospace roadmap for the next 10 and 20 years.

“The discussion focused on strengthening domestic production, promoting innovation and strengthening India’s global competitiveness in aircraft component manufacturing. The ministry posted to Indigo and Air India With pursuing global OEMs to establish a supply chain, the special focus of the Minister of Homble is to support the domestic Indigenous component manufacturing and MRO industry. With a total of 1,000 planes, the world They have placed some of the highest aircraft orders in. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also writes about the ambitions of civil aircraft across India.

The meeting includes stakeholders of the Indian Federation of Industrial Federation CII, the original equipment manufacturers including Indian Chamber of Commerce and Commerce Industry Federation, Indian Presidents including officials from Boeing Saril Gupta and Airbus, and MROS, MROS, and MROS. It also included V Vualnam, secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, including V. Niti Aayog research institutions and staff, as well as the Ministry of Commerce, also participated.

Aerospace exports from India are currently valued at less than $2 billion.

The conference included the newly formed Aerospace India Association (AIA), the pinnacle industrial organization representing India’s aerospace ecosystem, attracting stakeholders from OEMs, supply chain manufacturers and governments.

“The Association aims to increase India’s aerospace market share from less than 1% to 10%, and increase exports of commercial aerospace supply chains from $2 billion to less than 2 billion, and to increase current approximately We aim to increase the domestic value of exports from 30% to 60%.” he said at a press conference.

“Aerospace manufacturing in this country faces a major challenge. Relying on imported raw materials, limited intellectual property ownership and regulatory constraints completely limits the sector’s potential. AIA is addressing these issues by advocating for indigenous design and manufacturing, strengthening regulatory frameworks that are consistent with global aviation standards and enhancing India’s aerospace competitiveness. We are working closely with government agencies to implement the statement.

Boeing’s Salil Gupte told the Hindus: His expectations for major foreign OEMs are very clear. As part of our operations here, the government hopes that companies like Boeing will help Indian industry expand their capabilities from the bottom up. Long-term goal. ”

Boeing Source has produced more than $1.25 billion worth of exports from India, with 70% from manufacturing and collaborations with more than 300 supplier partners. This includes Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) in Hyderabad. This will generate aero structures in Boeing’s AH-64 Apache helicopter, including fuselage, secondary structures and vertical sparboxes.

Airbus exports $1 billion in goods and services, and plans to double every five years for the next decade.
