This is all people in the final bit of Test Cricket in 2024. We’re back for the New Year on January 2nd with these two teams kicking us out. Then join us and say goodbye for now!!

H Shahidi | Match Players: I feel very happy and happy, especially when I do something special for the country, in Test cricket. I don’t follow social media very often. People in our country have the right to criticize me and others, but we give 100%. We want to train hard and do something special for our country. We, me, Ramat and Afsal did well and hopefully our compatriots will be happy. We wanted to play 30 minutes (of the final session) and give the rest of the session, but it rained and we couldn’t do much. But there’s another test. The pitch on the first day was very flat and I don’t think the bowlers were consistent. They gave me a simple bounding ball, but today they came back strong. Rahmat Shah was great, he had some good shots and we built a good partnership. As a senior, you need to take responsibility and I have to give Rahmat credit for how he played. I hope he can carry that momentum.

C ervine: Satisfied with the total, lots of credits to Ben, and the strength he showed in his Test debut. (He and Bennett’s partnership) It was to keep it wonderfully simple and patient. Certainly there were balls we could score, we just had to wait for them. It was difficult (with their bowling), but a lot of credit goes to the bowlers. We controlled the game, but they didn’t let them move forward too far. They kept their driving rates during checks. The blessings were great, and the front and bowling were so many overs. There is always so much to learn. We’ll go back and see where we can improve. Both debutants (Gwandou and Nyamuri) are very impressive and are not used to such heavy workloads. When you play 5 days of full cricket, 2 days is not a long time. We take a break and move together.

Then it was the visitors’ turn to enjoy this batting paradise. Ramat Shah and Shahidi hit all day without losing wickets as both batters doubled. Keeper Afsal Zazai won the Maiden 50, converting it to a ton. Zimbabwe managed one wicket for most of almost six sessions. A collapse was unlikely to occur as Brian Bennett picked up Fifer when he stumbled from 679/4 to 699. In the three innings, Zahir Khan gave out some close LBW cries. He was later arrested for his first Google slip on Google. The rain delay then reduced, and when the players returned, the pitch was quite rounded with that little moisture. Zahir Khan and Ghazanfar bowled brilliantly with that spell, choosing three quick wickets, causing nervous moments in Zimbabwe camp. However, their veterans Erwin and Williams dug it out and played before both captains agreed to a draw an hour before. Stay for a presentation.

17:06 Local Time, 15:06 GMT, 20:36 IST: Those who are disillusioned with stealing the essence of Test cricket and stealing the “draw” from the game humbly urge them to see the extended highlights This test match from Burawayo. The gentle pitch, coupled with two very ordinary, inexperienced bowling units, meant this became a very uneven contest between the bat and the ball. For the first few days, I was bossed by the host. Williams, Irvine and Bennett won for centuries, while debutant Ben Curran scored an impressive 50. Zimbabwe scored the highest total ever in Test cricket as the Afghan bowlers appeared to lack energy after the points.

Drinks are now in the field. We were the last hour of play. Both captains can agree to a draw and swing it. And that’s exactly what the Afghans decide to do. All players wave and that’s the end of the day. The first Test match ends with a draw…

From Zahil Khan to Williams, four, too short, off the outside, passing through the bowler and slaps the ground, fleeing for a straight boundary

Zahir Khan to Williams, two runs, threw the middle and legs, clipping towards deep midwicket for some runs

From Zahil Khan Williams, 4, Googley in the middle and legs, pulled to the left of a deep midwicket due to boundary

From Zahir Khan Williams, No Run, Big Turn and Bounce Outs, Williams let it go

From Zahil Khan to Williams, not running, fast, spinning, Williams gets the edge to thrust it, but it slips along the ground towards the first slip

From Zahil Khan to Williams, run, fly delivery, push towards the point

Williams from Zia-ur-Rehman, 1 run, fired faster, more fulfilling off, driven to long on

Zia-ur-Rehman to Ervine, 1 Run, a low full toss of Pads, a glimpse towards deep midwicket

Zia-ur-Rehman pulled towards Williams, 1 run, short stump, deep midwicket

I saw Ervine, 1 Run, Full on Off Stump and MidWicket from Zia-ur-Rehman at one time

Zia-ur-Rehman to ervine, run, pitched on length, spinning over the front pad and pounding on the inside edge. Again animated charm, but outside the line, the judge says no!

Ervine, No Run, Fuller Offer and Fuller defended to the pitch from Zia-ur-Rehman

Zia-ur-Rehman (8.0-0-24-0) returned to attack

From Zahil Khan to Williams, don’t run, pass the edge and spit out sharply outside.
