Politicians far away in the European political spectrum have gained influence across the continent.

They walk through the corridors of governments of countries, including Italy, Hungary, the Netherlands and Finland. In Austria, the far right is on the way to lead the Union for the first time in history after the Centlist contract collapsed and excluded from office. In France and Germany, far-right parties use their influence as opposition parties to influence the impact of the law on key issues such as transition and asylum policy.

Members of the European Parliament Club are political groups that are collaborative by political parties from various European Union members. Groups on the right side of central conservatives are often referred to as “the far right”. However, these parties collectively change the political center of gravity in Europe to the right, but there is a difference between them.

As nationalists, most parties in these political groups say that they should come first, with less European cooperation. Many are also critical of Islam and would like to do so. Fundamentally Curb movement to the continent. However, they misunderstand their views on other topics such as abortion and economic policy, and diplomacy is an important line of division.

What is the difference between political groups in the EU?

The first group known as European conservatives and reformists (ECRs) include Giorgia Meloni’s Italian brothers and the Polish law and judicial party. At home, they curbed the rights of immigrants and same-sex couples, but internationally they are solid supporters of Ukraine in the war with Russia. Foreign policy attitudes mean that more centralist forces are willing to work with them. In the country, Meloni has enjoyed a strong recognition assessment. This strengthens her international profile.

The next political group known as European Patriots tends to be skeptical of the support of Ukraine . After a controversial handshake with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the party of Victor Orban, who appears to be Russia-friendly, is included, and Hungary tries to stall or derail EU sanctions in the war in Ukraine.

The French national rally, famously led by Marine Le Pen, is part of the club, founded by former Nazis and also has the Austrian Liberal Party, which has spurred skepticism about vaccines during the Covid-19 pandemic. The same is true.

The last group, sovereign state Europe, includes alternatives to the German (AFD) party. After a series of scandals over allegations that staff were arrested on suspicion of Chinese spying, which neglected German Nazi past and that the party was given boots by other far-right factions ahead of the 2024 EU elections. Ta.

The AFD defends the “order,” understanding it means massive deportation of foreigners and questioning whether humans are causing climate change. The party is expected to increase the number of seats in the German parliament in the country’s upcoming elections, which will be held on February 23rd.
