Is the Trump administration making a U-turn in the Gaza project? This is what the White House said

Washington, DC:

US President Donald Trump’s administration appears to have returned to his proposal to reset Gaza’s population, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio making it clear that actions on Palestinian territory were temporary. White House spokesman Karoline Leavitt also made clear what the US president said, saying the US has no plans to place “boots” in Gaza.

Last week, Trump hinted at the US “taking over” Gaza, and moving residents to nearby territories. He says that over 15 months of war between Israel and Hamas has left the territory that appears to be a “dismantling site,” and that it needs to be rebuilt so that “the people of the world” can live there. I said that. The proposal elicited the wrath of the Palestinians. The Palestinians worry that if they flee, they will never be allowed to return from the Arab countries they have called to take them.

“It’s not a permanent solution.”

Rubio, who has made the proposal clear, was on his first foreign trip to Guatemala as Secretary of State, but Trump’s idea was “very generous” to help remove debris and rebuild the enclave. It was called an offer.

“In the interim, obviously people will have to live somewhere while you rebuild it,” he said.

Trump’s spokesman Raybitt also made clear that Gazan’s transposition was a temporary solution and not a permanent solution.

“The president made it clear that a temporary relocation would need to be made from Gaza,” she said. She added, “It’s evil to suggest that people should live in such miserable conditions.”

What did Trump say?

Both Rubio and Ms Levitt’s remarks contradict Trump on Tuesday night. He died to a knife like what’s happening in Gaza. ”

He said that since Gaza is a “dismantling site”, there is no alternative for those who live there, and that US officials will forever “resettle” all Palestinians from Gaza as a humane gesture. He said he was framing the appeal. The president imagined “long-term” US ownership, located along the Mediterranean, and added that he redeveloped it into the “Middle Eastern Riviera.”

“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will work too,” Trump said at a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday. .
