And then there were two. Super Bowl 59 will be a familiar matchup for football fans as the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs will meet in the title game for the second time in three years.
The Chiefs made it past the Houston Texans in the divisional round before taking care of business at home against Buffalo in the AFC championship game. In the NFC, Philadelphia dispatched of the Green Bay Packers in the wild-card round, beat the Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round and ran over the Washington Commanders in the conference championship game.
While those two teams are still in playoff contention, the rest of the league is focused on the offseason. Head coaching and general manager vacancies are being filled and teams are sorting out how to improve next season.
