Telangana CM Revanth Reddy visits Singapore and Davos for investment: Rediff Moneynews

Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will visit Singapore and Davos from January 16 to attract investments and discuss the proposed skills university partnership.

Hyderabad, Jan 13 (PTI) Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, along with his cabinet colleague D. Sridhar Babu and senior officials, will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) from January 20 to 22. I am leaving for Davos, Switzerland to attend a conference.

Ahead of the WEF conference, he will visit Singapore from January 16 to 19 to discuss investments in Telangana and possible collaboration with the proposed Skills University with various companies, according to an official release. It is said that

The CM held a review meeting with officials from the industry ministry on Monday. As a result of the Davos visit last year, the state attracted investments of over Rs 40,000 crore.

According to the release, out of a total of 18 MoUs signed for various projects, 17 have already been discontinued.

The CM is confident that the state’s industrial policy will attract big investments in the future. All the welfare schemes and development programs introduced by the government in the first year have helped strengthen the state’s economy, the statement added.
